Email UsSDLTRS v1.2.33 is released. SDLTRS is a Radio Shack TRS-80 Model I/III/4/4P emulator for Macintosh OSX, Windows, and Linux. SDL(2)TRS is based on Tim Mann's excellent TRS-80 emulator xtrs and also has very low system requirements: it works on all platforms supported by the SDL library, even on machines with only a few hundred MHz of CPU speed.
XM6 Pro-68k (2025/08/08) is released. XM6 is a Japanese PC SHARP X68000 emulator.
Altirra v4.40 Test 17 is released. Altirra is an Atari 8 bit Emulator on the Windows/DOS platform. Altirra emulates several models of the 8-bit Atari computers. This includes the the 800, 800XL, and 130XE versions. It has a lot of options, and compatibility is decent especially given the emulator's early stages. It also supports some copy protected games properly in emulation.
Azahar 2123 RC 2 is released. An open-source 3DS emulator project based on Citra.
Gearboy v3.7.2 is released. Gearboy is a Nintendo Game Boy emulator written in C++. The emulator is focused on readability of source code, but nevertheless it has good compatibility. A lot of effort has gone into this in order to follow OOP and keep it as simple as possible.
Gearcoleco v1.5.2 is released. Gearcoleco is a very accurate cross-platform ColecoVision emulator written in C++ that runs on Windows, macOS, Linux, BSD, Raspberry Pi and RetroArch. This is an open source project with its ongoing development made possible thanks to the support by these awesome backers.
Steem SSE v4.2.0 R2 is released. Steem is an emulator for the Atari STE computer created many years ago by Anthony and Russell Hayward. Steem SSE is a new version of Steem based on this release. 'SSE' stands for 'Steven Seagal Edition'. Steven Seagal is a well known Aikido grandmaster, action movie star, musician and playboy.
WinUAE v6.0.1 Beta 2 is released. WinUAE is the commodore amiga emulator for Windows. WinUAE is a mostly complete software emulation of the hardware of the Commodore Amiga 500/1000/2000. A Commodore Amiga, for those who don’t know, is a 16/32 bit computer system based on the Motorola 680×0 CPU and a few specially designed custom chips that provide very good graphics and sound capabilities. Its first incarnation, the A1000, appeared in 1985, followed by the highly successful A500 and A2000 models. WinUAE is a port of the originally written for Unixish systems UAE; but over time, it seems the Windows port, WinUAE has become the best version available on any platform. WinUAE is free software: you are welcome to distribute copies of it and/or modify it, under certain conditions. There is no warranty of any kind for UAE. For more details concerning these issues, please read the GNU General Public License, which describes the terms under which WinUAE is distributed.
Xpeccy 0.6.20250809 is released. Xpeccy is an emulator for ZX Spectrum running on the Unix/Linux OS.
Ludo v0.19.0 is released. Ludo is a work in progress libretro frontend written in go. It works on OSX, Linux, Linux ARM and Windows. libretro is an API designed mainly for games and emulators.
Devector v9.2.1 is released. This is an emulator of the SOviet personal computer Vector06c. It is designed to simplify the development process and speed up the work. Currently, it is in the early stages of development, so please use it on your own risk.
Mariani v1.5 (1) is released. Mariani is a native macOS UI for AppleWin, by way of Andrea's Raspberry Pi port.
WinVICE r45735 is released. WinVICE is a program that executes programs intended for the old 8-bit computers. The current version emulates the C64, the C128, the VIC20, all the PET models (except the SuperPET 9000, which is out of line anyway), the PLUS4 and the CBM-II (aka C610).
Geargrafx v1.6.2 is released. This is an open source project with its ongoing development made possible thanks to the support by these awesome backers.
Retrom v0.7.32 is released. A centralized game library/collection management service with a focus on emulation. Configure once, play anywhere.
