Installation
• Extract the entire contents of the Gamebase64v07.zip file to a location on your hard drive, for example C:GameBaseGBC_V07.
Note: The .Zip file exceeds the 4GB limit. The built in Compressed Folders feature in Windows can only handle 32 bit Zip files up to 4 GB, so it isn't able to open this file. Use an archive program like 7-Zip of WinRAR to extract the file.
• If you havent installed the GameBase frontend, download it from the GameBase website and install it. Leave all options as suggested.
• Install the GameBase 64 V07 collection by running gb64v07.exe from the GBC_V07 folder.
Note:The setup program will install the collection by default in C:Program FilesGameBaseGBV_V05. This is incorrect. Change GBC_V05 in GBC_V07. Otherwise the Gamebase frontend will not recognize the GameBase 64 V07 Collection and possibly overwrite files from the former GameBase version.
• Extract and install the emulators you want to use from the GBC_V07Emulators folder. Install all emulators in subfolders beneath one main folder.
• Extract the SID player in the folder GBC_V07Sidplayers to a location of your choice.
