EmuCR:nemulatorNemulator v2.2 is released.Nemulator is win32 NES emulator.nemulator 2.0 uses DirectX 10, therefore Windows Vista or Windows 7 is required. If you receive an error message stating that d3dx10_33.dll is missing, please download the latest DirectX 10 update from Microsoft at microsoft.com.You need a lot of horsepower (probably a dual-CPU/core system) to run the menu at full speed.

nemulator v2.2 Changelog:
Sound engine improvements - audible adjustments to playback frequency are essentially eliminated
Fixed IRQ behavior following CLI, PLP, and RTI instructions (fixes Pinbot, High Speed, and some test ROMs)
More accurate MMC3 implementation
Fixed sprite DMA from non-CPU memory (fixes Noah's Ark)
CRC-based detection for ROMs that aren't adequately described by iNES headers
ROMs are cached on startup for smoother scrolling through the menu (can be disabled in nemulator.ini)
Hotkeys for resetting games (F2) and switching between fast and accurate emulation modes (F3)
Emulation of emphasis bits and grayscale mode
Fixed handling of OAM reads via $2004 while rendering; Micro Machines is working properly now
A lot of code reorg/cleanup and a few bug fixes
Added support for the following mappers:
MMC6 - Startropics
23 - Contra (J), Parodius, Crisis Force
67 - Fantasy Zone 2 (J)
78 - Holy Diver (J)
93 - Fantasy Zone (J)
94 - Senjou no Ookami
119 - Pinbot, High Speed
184 - Atlantis no Nazo
185 - Spy vs. Spy (J), Mighty Bomb Jack (J)

  1. What is the point making emulator for windows vista or 7 they both suck bad everyone uses xp and for long time.

    there are virtuanes jnes other good emulators no point making emu for vista do something more meaningful man...

  2. Windows 7 is better than Vista; I've had it for nearly two years and never had the problems I faced when using XP. People refusing to move from XP is just as bad as people not moving from IE6

  3. Yes I agree, there is no point in making an NES emulator DX10 or above. There is nothing in the NES graphics at all that would require anything about DX9. And now, the emulator is restricted to Win Vista and 7. Not smart.

  5. But there's no need in using a 10 year old OS forever. MS will kill of XP support next year, so, XP users are SOL. DX10 for an NES emulator is ridiculous, but saying XP is infinitely better than 7 is an EXTREMELY asinine opinion.
