  1. This is NOT version 1.1, only version 1.0! 1.1 is not freeware!

  2. a little too late for that!

  3. While I commend Martin for re-entering the emulation scene since he got royally pissed at no$gba being cracked, no$sns is closed-source, is less accurate than Snes9x 1.53/1.54, and isn't as fast as he claims it to be. I will not, however compare any emulator to Bsnes, because there's no point and I don't like that emulator for personal reasons.

  6. POW RIGHT IN THE KISSER
It's not an ideology, it's a compliment for the fact that someone still has the heart and dedication to write an emulator in assembly that can run on extremely low end hardware. It takes huge amounts of effort and, to be honest, you have to be insane to do such a thing. You see a lot less of this sort of stuff these days. It's a technical achievement and that's why I have a huge respect for him.

Plus, I don't understand why are people hating on this. You guys already got your perfect emulator (bsnes), why hate on something that probably wasn't made for your average "accuracy purist nut" gamers to begin with?

  7. byuu emu started in 2006 here byuu claim it is not that old
Like I've said and is apparent from this thread, there's a lot of really major problems right now.
Not at all surprising since it's so new, they'll get fixed. bsnes v001 was a whole hell of a lot worse (but I also released it after a week of work, this started in '06.)

  8. It will be absolute hell porting assembly-based emulators to Linux and Mac OS (not that real gamers care about Macs anyway). Just sayin'... Still better sound emulation than the abortive Zsnes.

    stop talking shit.

  10. I'm sorry, I must have forgotten the part where I was supposed to care about your contumelious remarks. If you want to try programming Assembler-based programs for non-Windows operating systems, be my guest. What would be even more satisfying to me is if you could prove that Super Mario World sounds better in Zsnes than in Snes9x, I'd be more than happy to listen to your fatuous, unjustified complaints. Now make like lawnmower and sod off.

    BYUU TALKING SHIT
accuracy ... He claims that, but I do not see it.
I pointed out the craziest edge cases I emulate, and he said he wasn't interested in things like that.

    mARTIN oWNiNg HIM
Don't get me wrong! I only said it SHOULD be accurate (and that I was awaiting bugreports). For the edge cases, I said that they ARE interesting, I just meant that I didn't like the fact that the hardware comes up with such nasty things.

  13. Well that was unexpected. That's the first time I saw Martin say something in years. But to perfectly honest, Byuu's philosophies can be perhaps a little, oh, different. Accuracy is vital, yes, but it is not the most important factor.

  14. Is more better has freeware version 1.1 soon.... I hope someone donate it and upload into any file sharing site!

Coming soon... I hope Martin released 3DS emulator version soon!

  15. @19 Not everyone has enough time to do stuff, you know?

  16. I love No$SNS, even I have donated to encourage Martin to keep on developing it. Byuu's Bsnes could be extremely accurate but I cannot run it full speed, even on a dual core with 2GB RAM and a Geforce!

Just a quick (and perhaps silly) question about No$sns... how can I toggle to full screen? I have tries alt+enter, all the F's keys, etc., but I couldn't!

Thank you very much in advance...
    GABRIEL
