Altirra 2.2 Test 8 is released. Altirra is an Atari 8 bit Emulator on the Windows/DOS platform. Altirra emulates several models of the 8-bit Atari computers. This includes the the 800, 800XL, and 130XE versions. It has a lot of options, and compatibility is decent especially given the emulator's early stages. It also supports some copy protected games properly in emulation.

features added Disk: Added option to format new disks with a DOS 2 filesystem. SIDE: Implemented top cartridge register and un-reversed image order. bugs fixed HDevice: Get Bytes command now returns $03 status code on impending EOF (fixes BLOAD from Turbo Basic XL). Flash: Fixed Am29F040B flash to only validate A0-A10 for commands (the Am29F040 is the one that does A0-A14).
