ScePSX Changelog:
Major update: Added OpenGL hardware GPU backend
New hardware GPU backend:
Added OpenGL hardware acceleration backend, which greatly improves 3D image quality performance.
Dynamic switching of renderers:
Dynamic switching of rendering modes is still supported, but please note:
OpenGL backend is only available in OpenGL rendering mode.
When switching to other renderers (such as D2D, D3D or Vulkan), it will automatically fall back to the software simulation backend.
Resolution scaling limit:
The maximum scaling rate supported by the hardware backend is 9x (4K resolution), and the automatic scaling is up to 5x.
If a higher scaling rate is required, press F11 to adjust it manually.
Fixed NCS instruction compatibility issues
Common compatibility issues of Chinese games have been fixed:
These problems are usually caused by NCS instructions, especially in Chinese modified games.
Recommended settings: For such games, please use the full instruction mode of the CPU.
Reason: The CPU's optimization mode cuts out some exception handling logic, which may cause Chinese games to run abnormally.
PGXP function is temporarily disabled
PGXP function is temporarily unavailable in the current version. If necessary, you can refer to the source code to enable it yourself.
