ykhwong's DOSBox 0.74 SVN Build 25.12.2010 is released. DOSBox emulates an Intel x86 PC, complete with sound, graphics, mouse, joystick, modem, etc., necessary for running many old MS-DOS games that simply cannot be run on modern PCs and operating systems, such as Microsoft Windows XP, Windows Vista, Linux and FreeBSD. However, it is not restricted to running only games. In theory, any MS-DOS or PC-DOS (referred to commonly as "DOS") application should run in DOSBox, but the emphasis has been on getting DOS games to run smoothly, which means that communication, networking and printer support are still in early development.
Prometheus ISO Loader for 6.20 TN is released. Prometheus ISO Loader is a functional iso loader by Chinese Hacker liquidzigong.
CWCheat v0.2.3 for 6.20TN is released. CWCheat is the FIRST ever cheat device available on PSP. With cwcheat you can apply raw-relative cheat codes either in PSP and POPS game mode (due to two different version of this application: cwcheat and cwcheatpops) just like the
famous commercial products "Action Replay", "CodeBreaker", "GameShark", "Xploder", etc. available on other platforms. cwcheat also features cheat searching and editing through a nice and easy-to-use in-game menu.
RomManager Dats v0.140u3 is released. RomManager is a mIRC script that allows you to display the status of your Emulation-related collections in an IRC channel. The interesting part is that you can also ask for people's stats, to compare your totals, and know which of your database needs to be updated/filled (and who can help you in this task ;) )
SSF Test Version (10/12/25) is released. SSF is a Sega Saturn emulator for Windows systems using DirectX 9.0b. The current version claims near-complete implementation of the Sega Saturn hardware (not counting emulation bugs), and can emulate the Saturn based Sega Titan Video arcade hardware too. As with most emulators, CDs or disc images are not included and have to be owned separately. The BIOS is also not included; as of 0.07 Beta R3, games run without the BIOS however. The usage of BIOS files is optional but recommended for better compatibility, and needed for tasks such as management of the contents of the internal memory of the Sega Saturn, or setting the system clock.
WiiXplorer SVN r210 is released. WiiXplorer is a multi-device file explorer for the Wii with a GUI made with libwiigui (by Tantric) and with graphics by NeoRame.
1964 SVN r84 is released. 1964 is a free Open Source N64 Emulator. It is one of the top Nintendo emulators arround that you can get with a high game compatibility rate.
msxDS v0.88 is released. msxDS is a MSX/MSX2/MSX2+ emulator for DS/DS Lite. msxDS is based on fmsxDS v.0.07 by Nyagosu. Several bugs fix and changes have been added. For example, the MSX2+ scrolling works.
MESS SVN r9818 is released. MESS(Multi Emulator Super System) is an open source emulator which emulates a large variety of different systems. MESS is a source-available project which documents the hardware for a wide variety of (mostly vintage) computers, video game consoles, and calculators through software emulation, as MAME does for arcade games. As a nice side effect to this documentation, MESS allows software and games for these hardware platforms to be run on modern PCs.
M1.XML 20101223 is released. M1.XML file for use with M1 - keeping up with changes in MAME.M1 plays the music from arcade games by running the code in the original ROMs (not supplied). This allows entirely authentic playback of classic video game tunes while you work.
XM7 V1.1L30/V3.4L40/V2.9L40/V2.9L40-V2 are released. XM7 is an excellent fujitsu Micro seven emulator for 7 platforms.
ValDanX v0.1 r19 is released. ValDanX is an open source PlayStation 2 (PS2) emulator for windows. ValDanX is a modified version of PCSX2. It's based on source code of PCSX2.
