PCSX2 Git (2021/02/26) is compiled. PCSX2 is an open source PlayStation 2 (PS2) emulator for the Microsoft Windows and Linux operating systems. With the most recent versions, many PS2 games are playable (although speed limitations have made play-to-completion tests for many games impractical), and several games are claimed to have full functionality.
Vita3K Git (2021/02/26) is complied. Vita3K is an experimental PlayStation Vita emulator for Windows, Linux and macOS. The emulator currently runs a few homebrew programs in .vpk format. No commercial games are playable.
melonDS Git (2021/02/26) is complied. melonDS is an open source Nintendo DS(NDS) emulator. melonDS is part of a second wave of DS emulators. There are a few other emulator projects that are part of it, which you might have already heard of. Either way, check them out!
PCSX-Redux Git (2021/02/26) is complied. This is yet another fork of the Playstation Emulator, PCSX. While the work here is very much in progress, the goal is roughly the following: Bring the codebase to more up to date code standards. Get rid of the plugin system and create a single monolithic codebase that handles all aspects of the playstation emulation. Write everything on top of SDL/OpenGL3+/ImGui for portability and readability. Improve the debugging experience. Improve the rendering experience.
Fceux Git (2021/02/26) is compiled. FCEUX is a cross platform, NTSC and PAL Famicom/NES emulator that is an evolution of the original FCE Ultra emulator. Over time FCE Ultra had separated into many separate branches. The concept behind FCEUX is to merge elements from FCE Ultra, FCEU rerecording, FCEUXD, FCEUXDSP, and FCEU-mm into a single branch of FCEU. As the X implies, it is an all-encompassing FCEU emulator that gives the best of all worlds for the general player, the ROM-hacking community, and the Tool-Assisted Speedrun Community.
Dolphin Git 5.0-13698 is compiled. This is the trunk of Dolphin Project. Dolphin is the first Gamecube emulator able to run commercial games! Dolphin is a Gamecube, Wii and Triforce (the arcade machine based on the Gamecube) emulator which supports many extra features and abilities not present on the original consoles. It has a partial Wii support and plays most Gamecube games.
FB Neo Git (2021/02/26) is complied. FinalBurn Neo is an Emulator for Arcade Games & Select Consoles. It is based on the emulators FinalBurn and old versions of MAME.
BizHawk Git (2021/02/26) is compiled. BizHawk is a A multi-system emulator written in C#. BizHawk provides nice features for casual gamers such as full screen, and joypad support in addition to full rerecording and debugging tools for all system cores.
Stella Git (2021/02/26) is compiled. Stella is a multi-platform Atari 2600 VCS emulator. The Atari 2600 Video Computer System (VCS), introduced in 1977, was the most popular home video game system of the early 1980's. EKA2L1 Git (2021/02/26) is released. EKA2L1 is a Experimental Symbian OS emulator, written in C++ 17. The emulator currently emulates Symbian OS's EKA2 behavior (with planned EKA1 support), and reimplement most of its critical app servers. It can already boot many EKA2's apps and games, with EKA1 being worked on at the moment.
mGBA Git (2021/02/26) is compiled. mGBA is a new emulator for running Game Boy Advance games. It aims to be faster and more accurate than many existing Game Boy Advance emulators, as well as adding features that other emulators lack.
History.dat v2.29 is released. History.dat is a searchable & comprehensive database which provides a WIP list of known antique & modern arcade games, casino games & coin-operated machines, including: arcade video games, pinballs, slot machines / pachislots, pachinkos, bat games, bingos, gun games, bowlers / shuffle alleys, jukeboxes, musical instruments, trade stimulators, fortune tellers, strength testers, kiddie rides, redemption games, allwins, working models, vending machines, pool tables, viewers, shockers, scales & more...
Command.dat v0.229 is released. The command.dat is a file that allows you to view, among other things, the individual command lists for your favorite fighting game characters. With the command.dat, you can have an in game instruction manual to essentially every game that MAME supports.
Dapplegrey v7.6.7 is released. Dapplegrey is a frontend for the MacOS X DOSBox port (which you can get from the official DOSBox website) written in REALbasic. Not only the plain DOSBox app, but DOSBox versions included in DBGL or Boxer will also be recognized as DOSBox binary source. With Dapplegrey you can easily set options the DOSBox gives to you w/o having to enter them manually using the Terminal or have to edit the DOSBox config file. This file will be written before Dapplegrey tells DOSBox to start the DOS game.
Xpeccy 0.6.20210220 is released. Xpeccy is an emulator for ZX Spectrum running on the Unix/Linux OS.
