IBMulator v0.18 is released. IBMulator is a free/libre and open source PC emulator focused on the IBM PS/1 line of computers, able to run with the original ROM. The goal is not just to develop yet another emulator, but also to create a faithful simulator with the look and feel of the real machines, hdd and floppy drive noises included.
Supermode Sinden v0.3a-42e236b is released. This is a fork of model3emu-code to add native Sinden light gun support. This fork uses ManyMouse to provide 2 player gun support in Linux and MacOSX. Two player mouse input in Windows is currently unchanged (supported in the official release) via the Windows Raw Input system. A Windows package is provided for Sinden border support.
Sega Model 3 UI v1.1.0.9 is released. This is a simple UI for the Supermodel. Supermodel is a Sega Model 3 arcade emulator.
Emu80 v4.0.456 is released. Emu80 is an open-source multi-platform emulator for old Soviet home computers. It supports a variety of computers including Radio-86RK, Apogee, Partner, Mikrosha, Mikro-80, YUT-88, Elektronika KR-04, Orion-128, Specialist, Eureka, Lik, Specialist-MX, Sura, Vesta, Hobby, Vector, Lvov, Korvet and their modifications.
Spud v0.307 is released. Spud is a ZX Spectrum 48k/128k Emulator written in C++ using Microsoft Visual Studio 6. Spud can handle the TZX file format!
Gopher2600 v0.32.0 is released. Gopher2600 is an emulator for the Atari 2600. Whilst the performance is not as efficient as some other emulators it is none-the-less suitable for playing games, on a reasonably modern computer, at the required 60fps. (The development machine for Gopher2600 has been an i3-3225, dating from around 2012.)
Emma 02 v1.48 is released. Emma 02 is an emulator for the relatively unknown COMX-35 computers from the early 80s. Emma 02 runs on Windows XP, Vista and Windows 7.
Red Viper v0.9.5 is released. A Virtual Boy emulator for the Nintendo 3DS continuing mrdanielps's work on r3Ddragon, which is itself based on Reality Boy / Red Dragon. It uses a dynamic recompiler with busywait detection and a hardware-accelerated renderer to achieve high performance on the 3DS's limited hardware.
Swiss r1667 is released. The swiss army knife of gamecube homebrew. Swiss aims to be the ultimate utility Gamecube homebrew application.
rpcs3 Git (2024/06/11) is compiled. RPCS3 is an open-source Sony PlayStation 3 emulator and debugger written in C++ for Windows and Linux. The emulator has been in development since early 2011 and currently supports modern DirectX 12, Vulkan and OpenGL renderers. The emulator is capable of booting and playing a decent amount of commercial games and PlayStation 3 SDK samples. Many more titles are also becoming playable with future development by contributors.
PCSX2 Git (2024/06/11) is compiled. PCSX2 is a free and open-source PlayStation 2 (PS2) emulator. Its purpose is to emulate the PS2's hardware, using a combination of MIPS CPU Interpreters, Recompilers and a Virtual Machine which manages hardware states and PS2 system memory. This allows you to play PS2 games on your PC, with many additional features and benefits.
DuckStation Git (2024/06/11) is compiled. DuckStation is an simulator/emulator of the Sony PlayStation(TM) console, focusing on playability, speed, and long-term maintainability. The goal is to be as accurate as possible while maintaining performance suitable for low-end devices. "Hack" options are discouraged, the default configuration should support all playable games with only some of the enhancements having compatibility issues.
Gearcoleco Git (2024/06/11) is complied. Gearcoleco is a very accurate cross-platform ColecoVision emulator written in C++ that runs on Windows, macOS, Linux, BSD, Raspberry Pi and RetroArch. This is an open source project with its ongoing development made possible thanks to the support by these awesome backers.
