Neo.emu v1.4.21 is released. NEO.emu is a Neogeo arcade and home system emulator based on Gngeo 0.8-svn (GPL), designed and tested on the original Droid/Milestone, Xoom, and Xperia Play, but works on many devices with similar specs (performance is better than previously released Neogeo apps from personal testing). It requires user-supplied romsets from MAME 0.145 or similar for correct operation (neogeo.zip, etc).
FPse v0.11.16 for Android is released. FPse for Android is the fastest and most compatible PSone emulator for handheld devices. FPse support OpenGL via external Plugin.
wxMupen64Plus v0.3 is released. wxMupen64Plus is a Frontend for the N64 Emulator Mupen64Plus. It is available for Windows, Lunix and MacOS. wxMupen64Plus is a Mupen64Plus 2.0 GUI frontend written using wxWidgets 2.9.x.
CPCBox Beta v20120409 is released. CPCBox is a CPC emulator which runs in the browser as a HTML5/JavaScript application.
JMednafen v0.2.2 is released. JMednafen is a Java interface for Mednafen, a good emulator for GNU/LInux, like NES, GBA,GB,GBC, Lynx, etc.
WinArcadia & AmiArcadia v17.61 are released. AmiArcadia and WinArcadia are multi-emulators of these Signetics-based machines: Emerson Arcadia 2001 console family (Bandai, Emerson, Grandstand, Intervision, Leisure-Vision, Leonardo, MPT-03, Ormatu, Palladium, Poppy, Robdajet, Tele-Fever, Tempest, Tryom, Tunix, etc.) (1982);Interton VC 4000 console family (Acetronic, Fountain, Interton, Prinztronic, Radofin, Rowtron, Voltmace, Waddington, etc.) (c. 1978);Elektor TV Games Computer (1979); PIPBUG-based machines (Electronics Australia 77up2 and 78up5, Signetics Adaptable Board Computer, Eurocard 2650, etc.) (c. 1977-1978);Signetics Instructor 50 trainer (1978);Central Data 2650 computer (1977);Malzak 1 and 2 coin-ops by Kitronix (c. 1980) (preliminary); and Galaxia and Astro Wars coin-ops by Zaccaria (1979-1980) (preliminary).
MAME Plus! XT v0.145u6 r5010 is released. MAME Plus! XT is a variant of MAME Plus that adds additional features such as pcb (Printed Circuit Board) info, and xvid movie support.
FB Alpha Shuffle v2.2.5 (2012/04/10) is released. FB Alpha Shuffle is an unofficial version based on FBA with many pointless features.
nullDC-Naomi SVN r141 is compiled. nullDC-Naomi is an open source NAOMI Arcade System Emulator. It will NOT run Dreamcast games.
nullDC SVN r141 is compiled. nullDC is an open source Sega Dreamcast(DC) and NAOMI videogame systems emulator for Microsoft Windows. nullDC runs several Dreamcast games at good speed, with full sound and music. NullDC requires the latest version of Microsoft DirectX, the latest Visual C++ runtime libraries and optionally WinPcap for modem emulation. As usual for emulators, a dump of the original console BIOS is also needed. It has a plugin architecture, with several alternative implementations (some ported from Chankast) for graphics, sound, reading games burned to CD-ROMs (it cannot read GD-ROMs directly) or disk image files, memory cards, etc.
PCSX2 SVN r5153 is compiled. PCSX2 is an open source PlayStation 2 (PS2) emulator for the Microsoft Windows and Linux operating systems. With the most recent versions, many PS2 games are playable (although speed limitations have made play-to-completion tests for many games impractical), and several games are claimed to have full functionality.
Fceux SVN r2489 is compiled. FCEUX is a cross platform, NTSC and PAL Famicom/NES emulator that is an evolution of the original FCE Ultra emulator. Over time FCE Ultra had separated into many separate branches. The concept behind FCEUX is to merge elements from FCE Ultra, FCEU rerecording, FCEUXD, FCEUXDSP, and FCEU-mm into a single branch of FCEU. As the X implies, it is an all-encompassing FCEU emulator that gives the best of all worlds for the general player, the ROM-hacking community, and the Tool-Assisted Speedrun Community.
BizHawk SVN r2177 is compiled. BizHawk is a A multi-system emulator written in C#. BizHawk provides nice features for casual gamers such as full screen, and joypad support in addition to full rerecording and debugging tools for all system cores.
DeSmuME SVN r4254 is compiled. DeSmuME is an open source Nintendo DS(NDS) emulator for Linux, Mac OS and Windows. DeSmuME supports save states, the ability to increase the size of the screen and it supports filters to improve image quality. DeSmuME also supports microphone use on Windows and Linux ports, as well as direct video and audio recording. The emulator also features a built-in movie recorder.
MESS SVN r14893 is compiled. MESS(Multi Emulator Super System) is an open source emulator which emulates a large variety of different systems. MESS is a source-available project which documents the hardware for a wide variety of (mostly vintage) computers, video game consoles, and calculators through software emulation, as MAME does for arcade games. As a nice side effect to this documentation, MESS allows software and games for these hardware platforms to be run on modern PCs.
