  6. Desmume runs fine on my AMD Athlon 64 X2 6000GHz, Sound Blaster X-FI sound card, 2GB of System Ram, GeForce 8500 GS 512MB, on Windows XP. Besides,

Desmume is SVN quality right now... Perfection is currently impossible... though with some games it is close.

If games, don't work there are things one can try.. Many times though it is simply a waiting game... Sometimes is system requirements, sometimes also emulator options, sometimes the programing, sometimes simple drivers. But Mostly is a waiting game. To which I must say Good Luck, to Source code people and to End-User...

  8. Works fine for me. Playing Digimon, DragonBall, Castlevania, Ace Attorney, One Piece games.
    I have Q9300@2.5GHz, 4GB ram, GigaByte GTS250 1GB.
Also go in Desmume config - Emulation Settings - General disable the advanced bus-emulation timing.
    In 3D SoftRasterizer enable Texture(Depth-0).
Sound in Synchr.-Pmode, buffer 4940, Cosine. Framer.-enable Limit, skip 2, auto minimize skipping.

  9. why i must disable the advanced bus-emulation timing?

  10. Thanks everyone that you tell you the specs on their PC. Thank you!

  11. OpenGL is very good

  12. Well it increases the speed of emulation if you disable it. If you find a game that doesn't work because of that you can enable it.

  18. Funny to see a 10 years old emulator still beats this one when talking about speed.

I mean, camon. If you need to buy a core i7 to play a DS , it be much chepear buying a DS right?

    ReplyDelete
  19. Well, yeah, but i7 also allows you to do everything faster/better. Plus you can probably emulate PS2, Gamecube, and Dreamcast near perfectly if your other stuff is in line too (like graphics cards, ram, etc.)
