EmuCR: rpcs3 rpcs3 SVN r21 is released. rpcs3 is an open source PlayStation 3 (PS3) emulator for the Microsoft Windows. It is only a PS3 disassembler now.

- Added more instructions (thank to BlackDaemon)

- Rewrote base class
- Removed count limits

- Added b/bl opcodes
- Implemented auto analyze

    Nichole is just update newer versions. She is not PS3 Programmer and Emulator developer at all!

    Playing some games on this ps3 emulator is not going to be around for other 10 years. Of course, fps speed might be under 5 or 10. You will need powerful PC to run it. Dont except some games to run for other 10 years.

    Hey Bascko tanks to submit the new reversion but i still await the smell complete emulator even a beta emulator is not quite playable all games in 2011 to be play now in 2007 or 2007 ps3 games:/

    i don't know why it's so hard to emulate a PS3... should be easy ...PC hardware is more powerful than the ps3 ...a lot more powerful!!!!

    While it's true I don't have to, it's also true that it's sometimes fun thing for me to do. As you said "I don't know..."

    It's already "hard" enough to emulate ps2... and it takes 10-15 times more powerful CPU to emulate it decently... and also complaining plainly PS3 has 8 cores that are almost set at almost 11 times higher clocks... so that's why it's demanding, also ps3 is a lot more secure (being that it took several years and it's only recently been jailbreaked (think by Geohot). And that's just plain "power", it's also a lot more complex... so... yeah.

    Also, as you are now trying to insult me, henceforth you are also describing yourself in that comment(amusing you're the same anon).

    the ps3 was only recently hacked because no one was OPENLY trying to until geohot messed with something in linux and it got removed which made the smart linux users mad. I'm generalizing but thats the jest of it

    Have you ever seen Metro 2033 or Crysis 2 DX11 graphics on PS3? no! There are some PS3 exclusives like Heavy Rain, or Killzone 2-3 or Uncharted 3 but these graphics are worse like Metro or Crysis 2. So I think a PC more powerful like a PS3...

    The PS3 processor have 8 core. An i7 processor have 4 core and 2 threads on each core. If it is an i7 960 it have 3.2x8=25,6 Ghz clock...
    A normal PC have more than 2 Gb RAM (I have 8Gb)...
    And an NVidia GTX 580 more powerful like a 7800 GTX (the video card in the ps3 matches close to that of the nvidia 7800 GTX)...

    This PC configuration is more expensive like a PS3 but it is more powerful too...

    people who want to play ps3 games on their pc those who want the ps3 exclusive games only like gow 3 or uncharted so its not about rigs its about games that you will play and for the people who is bitching every one your making ajoke of your selvs please stop and make this site clean take your arguments outside

    anon22: crysis2? really metro2033? uncharted2 and uncharted 3 much better... and killzone 3 also, and heavy rain too...
    ohh and ps3 cpu have 230gflops pc intel i7 only 50gflops... oc can have 100 gflops...

    ps3 negative thing is the vga and ram nothing else i bet in ps4 its gonna be the same cpu... cell cpu is much better than any desktop pc i7...

    Cell has 2 weak cores at 3192Mhz, impossible to make fully 8 cores in early 2006 year for home use.

    I'm console fan, completely understand how it works, for example Sega Genesis has CPU M68 at 7,67Mhz, duo to extreme code optimisation it can beat IBM 486DX CPU, why? because PC applications very bad optimised, instead optimisation developers prefered to new PC hardware upgrade.

    Cell have real speed compare to Pentium 4 at 3000Mhz, yeah if PC games will have same perfect optimisation, Crysis 2 will run on old machine.

    Why rpcs3 need so fantastic requirements? it easy, for virtual hardware you must have real CPU faster in 14-20 times.

    currently Phenom II X6 and Core i7 faster in 5-7 times, it still not meet minimum requirements.

    Cell has 3192Mhz, so here only ~1500 virtual MHz available, 45 of 100% real time speed emulation.

    Yes, i say it for future progress, because if even after 2-3 year rpcs3 will run something, it will run in interpreter (extremely slow as hell) only recompilers allow run it on Phenom II X6 and Core i7 for 10-20fps in games (due to not full virtual speed)

    New video systems such as Radeon 6970 and 580 can easily make ~2000gflops

    About extremely coding and optimisation.

    You can find NO$GBA (Nintendo DS emu for PC) which will run even in MS-DOS on old IBM 386SX CPU!

    now go to wiki and check hardware info of NDS.

    Of course... A 5 years old technology (PS3) beat the newest CPU-s, Video Cards, Motherboards stb... It is very funny...

    And if you don't like Metro 2033 just compare the GTA IV graphics (not the gameplay feeling. only the graphics) at PC and PS3. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=P66WmG0ZTpM (the shadows, lights, and textures are the best on PC. You can see it.)
