EmuCR:PS2 emulatorPCSX2 SVN r4942 is released. PCSX2 is an open source PlayStation 2 (PS2) emulator for the Microsoft Windows and Linux operating systems. With the most recent versions, many PS2 games are playable (although speed limitations have made play-to-completion tests for many games impractical), and several games are claimed to have full functionality.

PCSX2 SVN Changelog:
r4942
VIF: Removed the vu cycle counting craziness mentioned in r4941 comments. It was intended to pretend if the VU "ran" for longer than the VIF did, but it didn't really change a lot :P

  5. Fatal Frame games (three of 'em) are already playable with USA versions of the game and official stable 0.9.8. I can say that cause I've played them and it states so in pcsx2 compat list.

    Regards.

Every sound plugging in pcsx2 contains the "SP2" in it's name. But the default one SPU2-X is actually 2.0 opposed to the 1.0 on the official 0.9.8. So nah, he's probably just trolling or being stupid/ignorant. Like many others that come here regularly to beg/demand from devs to fix already fixed games.

  9. Nah, it's a lot more fun to play with your minds. Good thing that there is a lot of room there left for me to play and be around and save regularly (as it's kinda empty atm). So... Menu > Save Game > Shut Down.
