Email UsPCSX2 SVN r4952 is released. PCSX2 is an open source PlayStation 2 (PS2) emulator for the Microsoft Windows and Linux operating systems. With the most recent versions, many PS2 games are playable (although speed limitations have made play-to-completion tests for many games impractical), and several games are claimed to have full functionality.

Following shalma's recommendation, CDVD Status reads now also return the CDVD_STATUS_SPIN flag.
Apparently this is a common game breaker in PSX titles and it carried over to the PS2.
This fixes Time Crisis 2 loading and the frozen input in a horror game I have a dump of.
Please report any other titles you find fixed / broken! :)

ReplyDeleteYeah, FF XII still works not so good, DX10 renderer has better preformance in game, but in menus its worse than DX9. Also quickenings suck a little... fps drops to 25...

ReplyDeleteI personally don't mind, actually it's really amusing that they have time and don't have anything smarter to do than to think of "funny" remarks about random things(they are really funny sometimes). It's not that harmful IMO (annoying at first but I got used to it myself) and it's sometimes really nice to get here to read 10 or so posts/posters that are insulting each other. And more important it seems that it doesn't bother admins (more funny stuff for me).
The only really bad thing about all this badmouthing (concerning me per say) is that if they continue someone might actually think I'm a dev or something like that. lol

PCSX2 developers are inexperienced programmers. They have NO lfe; NO girls and NO education.

EMuCR-PCSX2-r4415 run FFXII first, no error,need directX update April,2011 or up, and set in setting tab in deplay property of computer by right clicking on desktop screen ,select property and choose setting and choose color quality: highest32bit, choose VGA software (not hardware) in PCSX2, for VGA hardware PC should be had Nvidia 6100 nforce 405 up.
