EmuCR:PS2 emulatorPCSX2 SVN r5005 is released. PCSX2 is an open source PlayStation 2 (PS2) emulator for the Microsoft Windows and Linux operating systems. With the most recent versions, many PS2 games are playable (although speed limitations have made play-to-completion tests for many games impractical), and several games are claimed to have full functionality.

PCSX2 SVN Changelog:
r5005
GSdx: Saving the conditional var update (vista or better) before I try a new idea again. That Sync() call is wasting too much time, if there was only one queue then the main thread could also grab and process elements instead of just waiting for the workers.

  3. PCSX2 with a Super Computer worth $100000000000000 cause thats what it takes to get full speed on most games.

  4. Stop barking here, just watch how others can work THAT fast!

  5. Oh, come on, tell me guys you aren't that stupid.
You three look like total idiots.
#1 - there are changes, they are significant, for different OSes too, if you don't care about linux - good, but there's also ones who care. In fact this one is like save state before some speed boost. And nobody said nothing about money.
#2 - why I you even comparing curentgen to previous one?
#3 - I have not super-mega-ultra computer with quad-core AMD Athlon CPU (2,92 GHz per core), 4 Gb RAM and NVIDIA GeForce GTS 250. When I bought my PC it was around 900$ and most games I play on PCSX2 runs around 60 FPS. So Stop with that nonsense right there.

totally Agree. i have core2du OC to 4 ghz , 4 gb ram , and geforce gts 250 , i play almost all games at 60 FPS.. that too in HD.. i compared GT4 of pcsx2 in HD with that of ps2 ..the emulator was way much better than ps2.... so i suggest for the aboce commentrs is that save u r words n sing a jingle in xmas..will me much better ..

  7. Devs for this are just as bad as Dolphin devs...releasing unimportant shit that does nothing but make us think they are "Working" on things. Stop releasing half-assed crap and just post progress.

I am tired of getting hopes up just to see that the official release is always better.

  10. The team behind this emulator does a great job!

  11. Thanks AnimalBear,
this emulator goes faster than other version, with the svn 4995 it was going like 38fps with tenkaichi 3, and now with this one it goes at 56fps! with the same settings and all of that.

Do you really think that a core2duo OC to 4 ghz is an upper system?? please tell me you're kidding... do you want to play ps2 games with a pentium 133??? ahahahah

Yeah...welcome to world of PCs. Here we have these things called system requirements. If your PC does not meet those requirements then you're SOL. Imagine it like this: You buy a Xbox game and then try to play it in your PS3. Do you complain to the software maker because you bought a system that can't play the game you want to play?

Better yet try playing The Witcher 2 on that PC you've got there. Guess what? It won't play or if it does it will run slow as shit. Want to complain to CD Projekt RED for not making it run on your PC?

    TL;DR
Don't be a dumbass. They can't make powerful shit run on budget systems.

  14. those crappy releases and devs make me love my ps2 more and more

    PS: ps2 kicks pcsx2's ass

ps2 is cheap and pcsx2 needs an expensive pc to play all games on it so pcsx2 is made to waste our money , boycott it

by the way Fuck Goran (please dont do me i was the first one who always wrote fuck goran btw and i'm anon 1 ;) )

  15. lol keep posting using an inspiron 1525...dual core 1.8ghz..
i have no speed problems "at all"...
you do not have to have a super pc to play games in pcsx2 or dolphin..all takes is knowing how to config pc and emulators "correctly"..sure i run into few games that are slow like gow1 n 2 or high gfx intensive games, but all others work great except for the bugs n gfx glitches you see but its trial and error..devs are doing what they can to help improve speed and compatability just be patient

  16. @ 18

oh man seriously i'm anon 1 and i run gow1 and gow2 very fast
i'm not complaining on those games but on games like burnout 3 or some other games

in fact ps2 is way better than pcsx2 because ps2 have no glitchs and no slowdowns

you get it?and stop talking about your crappy 1.8ghz pc its shame lol

  17. ya the racing games do run a bit slow for some reason i noticed it with carbon so i got pc version instead lol

  18. Dual Core 2.86 Geforce 460 GTX

Shit runs slow and is worthless. I'll stick with ePSXe and other GOOD emulators until they can fix this mess of an emulator.

  21. Gotta love watching people bitch and moan on this website. More needless petty fights than an MTV reality tv show xD

    ReplyDelete
  22. wrong anon#25

i owned a 2600k..but it still sucks at running most demanding game"zone of the enders 1 & 2" without skipping 2 frames

  23. For now i prefer PCSX2 0.9.8 (r4600) because is the final stable. Until see the 1.0.0.

  24. pcsx2 powns ps2 because it runs games in HD (and almost every decent pc can run pcsx2 at good speed)
