Dolphin bba Git 3.0-723 is compiled. Dolphin bba Git is a branch of Dolphin. Dolphin is the first Gamecube emulator able to run commercial games! Dolphin is a great Gamecube(NGC) and Wii emulator. It has a partial Wii support and plays most Gamecube games. Dolphin has been changed SVN to Git recently.
Dolphin bba Git changelog:
* bba: generate MAC if needed
* Reduce logging verbosity in the Linux BBA code
* Remove the now unneeded recv sleep hack and fixes game exit by implementing a timeout on read(2) calls in the read thread.
* bba: (windows) fix games which stop and restart recving, such as logging off of PSO and loggin on again without stopping dolphin
* bba: implement recv buffer full interrupt
(windows) hopefully fix crashes from closing dolphin while recving
* code cleanup for win32/tap/eth

DeleteSo that some games can be played online. You see, unlike Jpcsp, Dolphin was optimized (not Java!) and can run many commercial games fullspeed on current hardware, so some of the devs fleshing out the online part is actually logical.
DeleteJpcsp, on the other hand, can't run 3D games on fullspeed even with top of the line PCs, so the devs focusing on online shows that they actually got their priorities wrong.

ReplyDeleteHashless is ALOT slower on many games. Stick with the main branch as all good commits from the other branches eventually get merged to ze main trunk.
ReplyDeleteBut yeah, fuck the online java garbage. With so many random emulators for systems....CAN'T WE GET SOME PEOPLE WORKING ON A DECENT PSP ONE?!?!
