ARCADE Git (2017/10/16) is released. ARCADE is a derivative unofficial build based on the MAMEUIFX source code. MAMEUIFX has more improvements over regular MAME.
HBMAME Git (2017/10/16) is released. HBMAME (HomeBrew MAME) is a derivate of MAME, and contains various hacks and homebrews that are not included in MAME. It is based on the latest MAME source from SVN at the time of release.
WinVICE SVN r33896 is compiled. WinVICE is a program that executes programs intended for the old 8-bit computers. The current version emulates the C64, the C128, the VIC20, all the PET models (except the SuperPET 9000, which is out of line anyway), the PLUS4 and the CBM-II (aka C610).
CEMU Graphic Packs (2017/10/16) is released. It is a Community Graphic Packs for Cemu. Cemu is a Nintendo Wii U emulator that runs commercial games. Highly experimental software to emulate Wii U applications on PC.
MapleSeed v2.1.1.17 is released. MapleSeed Edge is a small set of applications created specifically for Cemu, an experimental Wii U emulator.
Steem SSE Beta (2017/10/15) is released. Steem is an emulator for the Atari STE computer created many years ago by Anthony and Russell Hayward. Steem SSE is a new version of Steem based on this release. 'SSE' stands for 'Steven Seagal Edition'. Steven Seagal is a well known Aikido grandmaster, action movie star, musician and playboy.
Snesclassic.Dualboot v0.3 is released. Snesclassic.Dualboot is a quick tool to convert an NES Classic firmware dump into a HMOD file to be installed via hakchi2 onto a SNES Classic. Once installed, you will have a menu item to switch to the NES Classic Menu, and another to switch back from the NES Classic Menu to the SNES Classic menu. In NES mode, all features of the original NES Classic work as expected (save states, screen filters, GUI, etc.).
CEmu Git (2017/10/14) is released. CEmu is a third-party TI-84 Plus CE / TI-83 Premium CE calculator emulator, focused on developer features. The core is programmed in C and the GUI in C++ with Qt, for performance and portability reasons. CEmu works natively on Windows, macOS, and Linux.
hakchi2 v2.21d is released. hakchi2 is a GUI for hakchi by madmonkey. This application can add more games (game ROMs) to your Nintendo Classic Mini or Famicom Mini. All you need is to connect it to a Windows PC via Micro-USB cable. No soldering or disassembling required.
PicoDrive 1.91 (2017/10/16) is released. PicoDrive is yet another Megadrive / Genesis / Sega CD / Mega CD / 32X / SMS emulator, which was written having ARM-based handheld devices in mind (such as smartphones and handheld consoles like GP2X and Pandora), but also runs on non-ARM little-endian hardware too. The emulator is heavily optimized for ARM, features assembly cores for 68k, Z80 and VDP chip emulation, also has dynamic recompilers for SH2 and SSP16 (for 32X and SVP emulation). It was started by Dave (aka fdave, finalburn author) as basic Genesis/Megadrive emulator for Pocket PC, then taken over and expanded by notaz.
Nintaco (2017/10/15) Beta is released. Nintaco is a work in progress. It is a NES-Famicom-Dendy emulator written in Java 8, ostensibly making it cross-platform. The full source will be made available per LGPLv2.1.
Neko Project 21/W v0.86 Rev. 36 beta 5 is released. Neko Project II is a port to the Wii of NP2 (Neko Project II), NEC PC-9801 emulator, programmed by Yui.
BlastEm v0.5.1 pre (2017/10/15) is released. BlastEm has the goal of being an extremely accurate Genesis emulator while still running on relatively modest hardware by using advanced techniques. Currently it meets neither my accuracy nor performance goals, but those goals are pretty high. Speed and accuracy should be sufficient for most purposes. It runs at full speed on an old first generation Intel Atom and can run Sonic 2 at around 600 fps on a Haswell desktop using a single core. To my knowledge, it is the only emulator besides Genesis Plus GX that can properly display the "TITAN 512C FOREVER" portion of Titan's Overdrive demo, and the only emulator besides Exodus that passes all 122 of the tests in Nemesis' VDP FIFO Testing ROM and can properly display "Direct Color DMA" demos.
Snes9xVITA v1.0.2M is released. Snes9xVITA is a Native SNES emulator for the PlayStation VITA. Based on both Snes9x 1.43 (CATSFC-libretro) and 1.52 (Snes9xNext)
86Box Git (2017/10/15) is complied. 86Box (formerly PCem Unofficial, PCem Experimental, or PCem-X) is an unofficial branch of the PCem emulator, which aims to emulate IBM compatible machines from 1981-2000 period. This branch adds several emulated motherboards.
PCSX2 Git (2017/10/14) is compiled. PCSX2 is an open source PlayStation 2 (PS2) emulator for the Microsoft Windows and Linux operating systems. With the most recent versions, many PS2 games are playable (although speed limitations have made play-to-completion tests for many games impractical), and several games are claimed to have full functionality.
