  1. Yeah ok. What kind of system are we gonna need when this thing gets more developed? Two 6 core CPUs, 4 Radeon 6990's and 16GB of RAM?

  2. In 8 more years when this finally get games working you probably wont be playing, you will be working to feed your 3 babieh.

Also Byuu gonna help in coding this, to make it accurate like Bsnes. So you probably need a Hexacore 19 GHz water cooled pecee with a GPU developed by Chuck Norris.

  3. Keep the good work! You guys are impressive and you should be proud of yourselves, because making a PS3 emulator is a great chalenge and even acepting it is a great score.

Anonymous #1 and Anonymous #2, dont be that way! JPCSP is able to play Final Fantasy Crisis Core in a playable way and is being developed since a year or two!
A year or two will be necesary if the devs of this project are active and give their best!

  5. Good luck on the emulator, it's so awesome to see older games preserved and especially adding better graphics etc.. and improving them

  7. pcsx2 started this way and look where it is today. It will take more than that (double or triple the time) for PS3 emulation but it will certainly happen one day.

  8. i5 2500k 4 gb ram grafic gtx 460 will be enough for 30 fps

  9. I'm still waiting for a decent PS1 emulator, hehe.

    ReplyDelete
  10. @10 LOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOL!
sad but true pscx is a piece of crap the development stoped years ago and the pscx reloaded is years behind so go figure

    ReplyDelete
  11. Ladies, the current PS1 emus can play almost all the games to the end so no need to worry about a decent PS1 emulator, if one have problems with a particular game you use another PS1 emu.

PS1 emu is decent enough as it is.

    ReplyDelete
  12. can someone upload a video showing the emulator in action? (when I say action I mean to open a game and see what happens; with this version! not like the outdated videos on youtube)

    ReplyDelete
  13. Sure, i will upload a video playing Metal Gear 4.

I'm at the last boss, when i figure how to defeat him i will record the video so you can see this emulator in action!

After that i will record Bayoneta!

  14. The only PS1 emulator in development for the PC right now is PCSX-Reloaded. I can't get it to work without lots of glitches or speed issues. Parasite Eve 2 won't even boot without a game-specific hack. The other ones are worse. There are emulators in development for the Wii and Xbox 360, but they are just ports of PCSX-Reloaded.

There is no PS1 emulator that is even near Snes9x-level, and Snes9x isn't even that good compared to bsnes.

    ReplyDelete
  15. Use the freaking Epcxe 1.7.0 for PSX, its an excelent emulator for that console and work with pretty much everything!

    ReplyDelete
  16. I really hope an AMD FX-8120 X8 Zambezi Bulldozer is enough for this emulator.

    ReplyDelete
  17. Snes9x is good enough for my needs, even better than Bsnes.

Why? the "fast forward" of Bsnes is slow as fuck compared to Snes9x, Zsnes, SnesGT.

Bsnes have some points in other areas tho, like "rewind", which Zsnes have already.

And accuracy? i piss in the accuracy of Bsnes, i dont give a shit about that. I hardly notice any difference using Bsnes, so for the 95% of the users Snes9x, Zsnes and SnesGT is good enough.

The only thing stopping me to migrating to Bsnes is the slow "fast forward".

    ReplyDelete
  18. And why would you want to use Bsnes?
    Zsnes y good enough!

    ReplyDelete
  19. http://byuu.org/bsnes/accuracy

    ReplyDelete
  20. ^ Most of those games are playable with the other snes emu's, with graphic glitches true, but thats like 1% of the snes games.

Not saying that Bsnes suck-ass, just saying the other emu can play those games already for the regular user, and 1% of those games with some minor problems.

So for me accuracy doesn't matter if i can already finish those games with another emu, in my case i go for the emu with "more features".

Sadly Bsnes lacks a good "fast forward" so i just use another emu.

    ReplyDelete
  21. Isn't this a comment site for PS3? PLAYSTATION 3, not nintendo, snes or byuu...
you guys have no real life at all and cry about the same thing over and over again right?

    ReplyDelete
  22. Let those guys argue, this is not even a ps3 emulator yet.

Also most people that visit these places have no life at all, that includes you and me =)

    ReplyDelete
  23. @#21: Those are not necessarily all the games that have issues. They're just a small selection of games he decided to use as examples. There could be hundreds more. Anyway, I don't really care what you use, but for me accuracy is important. I got both a modded PS2 and a modded PS1 to play PS1 games, but the modchip in the PS2 doesn't cover PS1 games for some reason, and the PS1's drive is screwed up. Thus I would like a decent PS1 emulator as I'm not rich.

    ReplyDelete
  24. ^ The "perfect emulator" doesn't exist, the good news is that most PS1 emulators can play most games with no issues, and if a game have issues with a particular PS1 emulator you use another emulator.

If you want extreme accuracy in PS1 (like Bsnes) use Xebra, the bad news is that the GUI of Xebra suck, but its a decent emulator, like Bsnes.

But like i said, accuracy is not an issue for me so i stick with ePSXe till i encounter a problem in a game, when i do i just try another emu and see whats up.

  25. Look, if you want emulators ONLY to "play gamezz llool!!!11", just refrain from saying anything about the world of emulation. You are just making yourself sound like an OMEGA IDIOT.

Emulation FOR THE GUYS THAT ACTUALLY DEVELOP SOMETHING, and for people who really LOVE and have CURIOSITY, may near something like an art. So yeah, accuracy is pretty much awesome.

Emulation isn't just about playing your stuff for free, it's about bringing immortality to certain hardware.

  26. *cums on #27's face*

    ReplyDelete
  27. GUYS I FOUND THE PERFECT ACCURACY PS1 EMULATOR IS CALLED PSX 1.13 ;]

    ReplyDelete
  28. pSX's sound is buggy in Final Fantasy IX during battles.

    ReplyDelete
  29. You are wrong, you #27 retard. You CAN'T bring immortality to hardware with a BOGUS implementation of it.

It's even more obvious now that you don't care at all for the whole interesting part of it - you once again fixed your point only in "FREE GAMES WORKING WEEEE~~!1".

Please, go away. Go piss in the accuracy, but be silent about that. Since you don't understand the point of it, leave it alone.

And by the way, I have NEVER used bsnes, I'm sorry to break that for you.

    ReplyDelete
  30. Good points #31. nothing to include!

    ReplyDelete
  31. Funny the only ppl who complain about bsnes are the ones with ghetto pc's that cant run it

    ReplyDelete
  32. i gotta say i agree with #35, some people just don't care about accuracy that much, and i'm one of them

    ReplyDelete
  33. Yes, WE want more accurate emulators ... for machine preservation sake !!!

    ReplyDelete
  34. M.E.S.S is a one way to go, but currently is a really a mess. Made it more accurate, you lazy programmers.

    ReplyDelete
  35. @40 yeah im sure you play vectrex ,commodore 64 and tandy games all day ,because you like presservation so much!

saludos y suerte a los desarrolladores.

  40. Why don't you try saying something useful, instead of cursing because you can't beat common sense, #38? Stop escaping from the point.

Accurate and non-accurate emulators both have their purposes. I never bashed non-accurate ones, but you and other brainless imbeciles keep bashing accurate initiatives and spouting nonsense about it. Freaking closed mind thinking everything should be only for speed.

    ReplyDelete
  41. @48

i believe he already made his point and i agree with him

i think you are just a bit butt hurt

and lol, calling people that use non accurate emulators a pirate, har har

    ReplyDelete
  45. @Anonymous #4

You're seriously making a comparison between a PSP emulator and a PS3 emulator? You know the huge leap in the kind of computing power it would take to emulate between the two? PSP runs at a measly 266MHz. PS3 3.2GHz. Don't make it sound like it's gonna be a breeze to ever run something like this at an acceptable speed.

PSP runs at 333MHz max. It even says that in DragonBall Tenkaichi Tag Team, for those who don't have CFW, but most games run at less as default. Though everyone can now get the CFW working without a pandora.
