GSdx: Small optimizations here and there, just saving changes before trying to add an index buffer, that might help reducing load on the main gs thread a bit. That's where I think the bottleneck currently is in games with high polygon count.

there are earlier svns that works well and fast but it seems like these newer svn are getting from bad to worse,getting slower and slower after each revision
p.s my codebreaker,ar and gameshark won't even work now for the newest svn

ReplyDeleteMTVU existence alone can make a pretty difference between SVN revision and official beta.
Some game might break with SVN revision, just like Metal Arms. But having 2 PCSX2 on your PC isn't really a big deal. Having an official beta for emergency, and latest revision as main application.
Getting slower? Nope. You just didn't know how to work it out. Simple.

like Dynasty Warrior 3 only works on r4600 builds or early builds and before any idiots tell me to try testing other svn after the r4600,well i have!! and none works with dynasty warriors3

ReplyDeleteThere's a lot differences between r4600 and after r4600. r4600 is an official buld (0.98), so you can expect maximum stability and game compatibility. a revision after r4600, in other hand, was an unofficial build (Alpha version) and should be noted it may broke some games, tough they might have some improvement on it. At least you should know about this before saying 'it's all crap'.

Worse? Depend. MTVU is on SVN revision, not on official build. i7? Who really need that? You just imagining things. XD
with 0.9.8 r4600 Tales of Legendia was almost unplayable(lot of graphical bug and slowdown)...

SVN or official release doesn't mean "fully working emulator".
Official release tends to be more stable compared to svn because it goes thru' more thorough testing and dev't codes are cleanup before the release.
Don't make a fool of yourself by posting nonsense.

There's no need for i7, PCSX2 and Dolphin run great on my Phenom II x4 @ 3,5 Ghz / 6 Gb RAM / GTX 570, proper settings per every game shurely do the trick!
