    how does one go about being a beta tester and anyone that is one do they know how well beta testers are treated. I found even some open source projects are less than kind when it comes to bringing up bugs or suggestions

    did you see on the Russian web site the specs for the pc

    PC with i7-2600k @5Ghz was used for tests
    that was to get full speed

    wait until 99% of all the Demul lovers find out that their old pieces of shit wont run anything

    and a big thank you to the devs for wasting years of there lives to continue on making this piece of shit

    Putting together a release is a lot of work. Those of you who aren't developers probably have very little idea of how much effort goes into an emulator like this. It's even tougher if the author has little personal time to devote to the project. If the Demul authors feel it's not ready, then it's not ready.

    Devs can't please everyone, as I've discovered. Release too often, and users complain about bugs and incompatibilities or get bored because it doesn't feel ready yet. Release less frequently and people still whine.

    Thankfully, most projects attract enough courteous, appreciative users to remain worth working on. If my inbox became stuffed with comments like these, I'd probably stop releasing and just keep posting WIP updates indefinitely, laughing all the while at the rude teenage assholes desperate to play it.
