Supermodel-UI v0.5 build 67 (20-02-2012) is released. Supermodel-UI is a frontend for the Windows Supermodel port.
Supermodel-UI features:
- Easy and light weight interface.
- User icons and snapshots support.
- Until 4 diferent ROM, icons and snapshots path locations at same time.
- Input configuration (will be improved in future releases).
- Game time and play count support.
- Dynamic gamelist and options discovery (works with all versions of Supermodel).
- All games emulated are supported to launch.
- No extra configurations files needed.
- New Supermodel 0.3a options availables.
- First release! more features are coming soon...

ReplyDeleteI know, same here. When I select a path then leave that screen after hitting save I go back and my Rom path is blank again.

ReplyDeleteIt works perfectly fine for me.. This one certainly shows all the games available. Awesome!
ReplyDeleteif you have the roms files in the rom folder of the emu the gui works fine, otherwise if you have the rom files in other place the gui doesnt work.
ReplyDeleteAlso remember to make sure the Rom's are in a .zip file as follows example: scud.zip then they will show up ok.

0.6 don't save rompaths for me it always defaults to the dir the exe is in.
ReplyDeleteTo all of you that are having trouble with it,Just put the GUI in the emulator folder & create a shortcut to the desktop! End of story
ReplyDelete@Venom, they dont bother to read the instruction. Thats why they are lazy and just struggle with it. They are inexperience, obviously. Yes, it should go into the emulator folder and open GUI and it should read the emulator you already have in the folder along with roms folder. Simple as that. :)

Go into test mode, select the crt test 2/2, push the service button 4 times, exit the crt test, select the Game assignments, push service 3 times (sound), hold service on push number 4 and then press test.
HARLEY DAVIDSON LA RIDERS (Model 3 Step 2)
Go into the test mode, select game assignments up, up, down, down, view, music, view, music.
LA MACHINE GUNS (Model 3 Step 2)
Go into the test mode and push start, start, service, start, start, start, service, test.
(start = player 1 start button).
LE MANS 24hr (Model 3 Step 1.5)
Go into the test mode and push start, start, service, service, start, test.
LOST WORLD (Model 3 Step 1.5)
Go into the test mode and push start, start, service, start, service, test.
(start = player 1 start button).
MAGICAL TRUCK ADVENTURE (Model 3 Step 2)
Enter Self-test Mode
Press “Left Start Button” 2X
Press “Service Button”
Press “Left Start Button”

Country setting can be changed in the menu (non-Australian version).
SEGA RALLY 2 (Model 3 Step 2)
Go into the test mode, using the service button do 4 short presses, 2 long, 2 short and 1 long.
SKI CHAMP (Model 3 Step 2)
Enter the self-test mode.
Press the buttons on the control panel in the following sequence:
Blue, Green, Blue, Green, Service, Service button.
STAR WARS TRILOGY (Model 3 Step 2)
Go into the test mode and using the service button do the following:
Short, short, short, long, long, short, short, long.
VIRTUA FIGHTER 3 (Model 3 Step 1)
Country setting can be changed in menu (non-Australian version).
VIRTUA STRIKER 2 ’98 (Model 3 Step 1.5/2)
1. Go into "Game Assignment " in the Test mode.
2. Press the Service Button once for about 5 seconds.
3. Press the Service Button three times shortly.
4. Press the Service Button one time for about 5 seconds again.
VIRTUA STRIKER 2 ’99 (Model 3 Step 1.5/2)
1. Go into "Game Assignment " in the Test mode.

ReplyDeleteWithout a reference there's no way to set up the controls unless you want to do trial and error and that would take fucking ages. EG WTF is AXIS2? Which fucking axis is that? How do you differentiate between different controllers? -_-
ReplyDelete@20 Read the Supermodel Help pages or README.txt. It includes clear instructions for launching its internal configuration utility allowing you to easily map controls by pressing them.
