PCSX2 SVN r5212 is compiled. PCSX2 is an open source PlayStation 2 (PS2) emulator for the Microsoft Windows and Linux operating systems. With the most recent versions, many PS2 games are playable (although speed limitations have made play-to-completion tests for many games impractical), and several games are claimed to have full functionality.

* fix properly context, directly save the state in the shader
* replace the last deprecated variable in the shader. Remain the issue that host enable 1 output and the shader write 2 outputs
* It seems that VBO does't depends on the VAO but vertex format depends on both VBO/VAO so I set the format multiple time. Not sure the behavior is fully correct

* some parameters was set after the shader setup. Extend the API to do the shader setup before the draw
* remove the useless shader compatibility bits

People, about slowmotion of GT4 and GOW2 any improvement in this version!? For me nothing only play full performance in 320p window! (AMDx4/HD5770/4Gram/W7-64).

ReplyDeleteI can run GT4 on almost any track at a solid 60fps, without any bugs, aside from the darker look of 720p - fixed with the shade boost feature.
ReplyDeleteLike #2 said, you just need to know how to setup the emulator properly.
This isn't a run and forget emulator, to get the most out of it you have to manually setup most games individually, then when you are happy just backup or archive-up the ini folder and name it after the game. I have my own ini backups for most demanding games like GT4, Wipeout Fusion, SOTC, GOW, etc..
Forgot to add, one of the last better builds if you are a windows user is 5197. The newer ones are more aimed at Zzogl problems, and Linux.
ReplyDeleteHow do I configure the emulator for the GT4 (PAL) run at 50FPS? I tried everything else I can not, has many FPS drops during the game.

ReplyDeletejust add another set of speedhacks so itl have double the speed so we can run all games no swet lol or intrigrate the speed hacks in the core and add another speed hack and rename it to turbo speed hack so will get double the 60 frames

Someone else has a bug in GT4 where the sunlight and the lights are flashing the headlights? Is there any solution?
