EmuCR: MameUIHiScoreMicro64 v1.00.2012.07.04 Build 706 is released. Micro64 is a freeware commodore c64 emulator. Currently micro64 has two different VIC II emulation modes: cycle exact (default, works fine) and half-cycle exact (next-gen, rudimentary implementation – currently damn slow).

Micro64 v1.00.2012.07.04 Build 706 Changelog:
- Added memory/NeoRAM/GeoRAM/REU byte-wise search and
memory/NeoRAM/GeoRAM/REU regular expression grep commands in the NEMO
network monitor
- Extended string syntax in the NEMO network monitor, examples: "abc\r\n"
(C-like) and 'abc''def' (pascal-like)

    1. Not true, the CCS64 is now an old and probably, according to some demo tests, maybe a little inaccurate, so now only depends to the author if he will going to improve it in the near future. And why still is not FREE ???

  2. Micro64 is querying already all available axes, all balls, all hats and all buttons informations per connected joystick, which Micro64 can retrieved by the SDL 1.2.x joystick API. And it seems that SDL 1.2.x is using the very old MMSYSTEM joystick API under Windows, which is existing since Windows 3.1x from 1. March 1992.

So there are simply no more open possibilities with SDL 1.2.x itself.

And because Micro64 is cross platform with a single code base and not windows-only, Micro64 is depending on SDL 1.2.x, until SDL 1.3/2.0 (which is getting DirectInput support under windows) will have a API-stable version for the usage in the future. But I can see what I can do for to workaround this issue.

But do not insult me, if you do not know the technical backgrounds behind it.
