Citra Git (2017/08/24) is released. This is the trunk of Citra Project. Citra is an experimental open-source Nintendo 3DS emulator/debugger written in C++. At this time, it only emulates a very small subset of 3DS hardware, and therefore is only useful for booting/debugging very simple homebrew demos. Citra is licensed under the GPLv2. Refer to the license.txt file included.
Citra Git Changelog:
* Merge pull request #2839 from Subv/global_kernel_lock
Kernel/HLE: Use a mutex to synchronize access to the HLE kernel state between the cpu thread and any other possible threads that might touch the kernel (network thread, etc).
* Kernel/Memory: Acquire the global HLE lock when a memory read/write operation falls outside of the fast path, for it might perform an MMIO operation.
* Kernel/HLE: Use a mutex to synchronize access to the HLE kernel state between the cpu thread and any other possible threads that might touch the kernel (network thread, etc).
This mutex is acquired in SVC::CallSVC, ie, as soon as the guest application enters the HLE kernel, and should be acquired by the aforementioned threads before modifying kernel structures.
