DreamPotato v0.2.0 is released. DreamPotato is a Dreamcast VMU emulator in currently in alpha. For the moment only Windows builds are available. DreamPotato can connect to Flycast to support an experience similar to using a real Dreamcast and VMU together. Currently, trying this out requires building the Flycast vmuconn branch from source.
DreamPotato Changelog::
VMU-to-VMU connections are now supported! (#6)
Using a 2nd VMU is now controlled by the "File->Open Slot 2 VMU" command.
Gamepads can now be associated with different VMUs.
The connection is not emulated perfectly accurately. Any issue reports for problems you experience would be much appreciated.
Added recently opened files list.
Save state UI improvements, with slot selection and thumbnails.
Added Take Screenshot command. (#15)
Windows builds are now code signed. Anti-virus should stop complaining when you try to run it.
I will try to get to code signing for other platforms, especially Mac where it is effectively blocking the release.
Got rid of the -beta suffix in the version. It seemed unnecessary. The software should still be considered beta, though, until 1.0 is released. I would like to further improve accuracy before then.
