Xenia Manager v4.0.0 is released. Xenia Manager is a tool designed to simplify the use of the Xenia Emulator. It aims to make playing games and installing specific game patches more straightforward and user-friendly, while also providing an easy-to-use interface for adjusting Xenia settings. Xenia is an experimental emulator for the Xbox 360.

Added support to edit HID.WinKey bindings bindings. These are usually used for debugging games without the need of a controller. Unlike MouseHook Bindings Editor, these controls provide a textbox with format guide as a tooltip to explain to the user how they work and how these bindings should be binded.

Reworked Xenia Settings to be fully dynamic based on config file, reducing time to add or remove settings massively.
Cross-Platform InputListener
Reworked InputListener to use Avalonia's input system for cross-platform support—now only active when window is focused.
MVVM + DI Architecture
Cleaned up codebase to properly follow MVVM pattern with Dependency Injection structure for better maintainability and testability.
Unit Tests
Added comprehensive unit tests for core functionality to ensure code reliability and prevent regressions.
Removed List View
Removed List View option to streamline the library interface. This might return in a future update.
Removed Automatic Updates
Removed automatic Xenia updates on startup to improve loading times—update checks can now be manually enabled/disabled in settings.

Request Caching
Added caching of API requests that refresh daily to improve performance.
Manual Compatibility Rating Updates
Replaced automatic compatibility rating updater with manual button in LibraryPage to reduce loading times.
Xenia Game Details Toggle
Added option to enable/disable using Xenia for parsing game details (This is only needed for .zar formats since they are currently not supported).
Enhanced Steam Shortcuts
Improved Steam shortcut creation to properly add artwork and shortcuts are now only created for the most recently used account. (Thanks to RPCS3 for inspiring this improvement)
Dynamic Loading Screen
Loading screen now appears/disappears dynamically as game starts loading in Xenia instead of fixed timing.
XUID-Based Save Backups
AutomaticSaveBackup now uses XUID instead of profile slot for creating backups.
Improved Directory Scanning
Enhanced directory scanning for better game detection and library population.
Optimized Settings Preview
Improved optimized settings to preview all changes, remove unwanted ones, mark differences, and skip mismatched types.
Performance Optimization
Optimized app loading with ~300x improvement in speed for large libraries (~1500 games).
WINE/Proton Improvement
Due to the code changes & new UI library, app should work better under WINE/Proton. Currently the only setting that is disabled is shortcut creation, with a plan to make this work at some point.
Reduced file size
Decreased by approximately 43% (from ~75MB to ~43MB)
