Nextendo v1.7.3 is released. Nextendo is a fork of the open-source Ryujinx Nintendo Switch emulator. On top of Ryujinx's excellent accuracy and performance, Nextendo adds a first-class, built-in client for the Nextendo Network — a community-run replacement for the official online service — so supported games can be played online again without any manual configuration, custom hosts file, or SSL bypass on the user's part. The emulation core (CPU, GPU, audio, input, filesystem) is unchanged from upstream Ryujinx. Nextendo's additions are limited to the networking layer and the surrounding user experience.

Cloud Saves
Your progress now lives on your Nextendo account — not just on this PC.
Cloud saves for Splatoon 2, Mario Kart 8 Deluxe, Super Smash Bros. Ultimate and Animal Crossing: New Horizons. Your save is backed up to your account and restored on any PC you sign in from.
Automatic, in the background. Your save is pushed when you close a game, on a timer while you play, and best-effort even if the emulator crashes.
Empty-folder restore. Launch a game with no local save and Nextendo offers to download your cloud save first (Switch-style prompt) — or start fresh, with a clear warning that a new save will overwrite the cloud copy on the next sync.
Download anytime. Grab your raw save file from your personal space on nextendo.network.
Discord Server Boosters get 10 MB of cloud storage (5 MB otherwise).

Splatoon 2: the online schedule (BCAT) is now force-synced on every launch, comparing your local schedule to the server's and silently refreshing when they differ — this ends the "communication errors" that happened when players were on different rotations.
Clearer online error messages: a refused login no longer shows up as a bare "communication error".
Notes
Cloud saves are available to accounts linked to Discord with a verified e-mail.
Requires 1.7.3 or later — older builds cannot push or restore cloud saves.
