D2X-XL v1.17.48 is released. D2X is a port of Descent 2 to OpenGL. It is an open source project and has received a lot of enhancements compared to Descent 2. My work on this project would not have been possible if hadn't been for the people who initially implemented the OpenGL and SDL code in D2X, so my thanks to them: It is for them that we can still play this great game on modern hardware. MESS SVN r31071 is compiled. MESS(Multi Emulator Super System) is an open source emulator which emulates a large variety of different systems. MESS is a source-available project which documents the hardware for a wide variety of (mostly vintage) computers, video game consoles, and calculators through software emulation, as MAME does for arcade games. As a nice side effect to this documentation, MESS allows software and games for these hardware platforms to be run on modern PCs.

Thanks a lot to MoonWalker for providing this cart! Maybe I have seen it before, but didn't think it's something special. As we can see on its cover, there are some simple games, "TMNT Tournament Fighters" and "Cricket 2003". We are know, that "International Cricket" exists as official game, developed by Beam Software, and as their another game "Aussie Rules Footy", was released only in Australia. But it appears, on this cart isn't a hack of this game, rather an original chinese version of Cricket.

Snex9x with xBRZ scaler (2014/06/05) is complied. The xBRZ graphics scaler is now available for the SNES emulator Snes9x! The following Snes9x build is based on the latest source code from Github Snes9x (> snes9x 1:53) together with a few minor bug fixes from Zenju and uses the latest versions of the dependent libraries (zlib, libpng, CG, fmod). As usual xBRZ is implemented with full multi-core support, so that there should be no performance problems on modern dual or quad CPUs.
