OpenMSX Git (2025/02/06) is compiled. OpenMSX is an open source MSX emulator which is free according to the Debian Free Software Guidelines, available under the GNU General Public License.For copyright reasons the emulator cannot be distributed with original BIOS ROM images. OpenMSX includes C-BIOS a minimal implementation of the MSX BIOS, allowing to play quite some games without the need to have an original MSX BIOS ROM image. You can also use your own BIOS ROM image if you please.
Dolphin Git 2412-258 is compiled. This is the trunk of Dolphin Project. Dolphin is the first Gamecube emulator able to run commercial games! Dolphin is a Gamecube, Wii and Triforce (the arcade machine based on the Gamecube) emulator which supports many extra features and abilities not present on the original consoles. It has a partial Wii support and plays most Gamecube games.
BizHawk Git (2025/02/06) is compiled. BizHawk is a A multi-system emulator written in C#. BizHawk provides nice features for casual gamers such as full screen, and joypad support in addition to full rerecording and debugging tools for all system cores.
Q-emuLator v3.5.2 is released. Q-emuLator is a software emulator of the QL, running as an application in the Windows and Mac OS environments. Q-emuLator has an interpreter of the 68008's instructions, and emulates the basic QL's hardware, redirecting input and output to the Mac's or PC's video, keyboard, mouse, disks, sound hardware and serial ports.
Retrom v0.7.7 is released. A centralized game library/collection management service with a focus on emulation. Configure once, play anywhere.
Helios v25.0203 is released. A Java-based multi-system emulator mainly focused on Sega 16-bit systems. Initially created as a Sega Megadrive/Genesis emulator and then evolved to emulate the following systems: Sega Megadrive/32X ; Sega Master System/Game Gear ; Sega Sg-1000 ; Colecovision ; MSX v1 ; NES.
Nintendulator 0.985 beta (2025/02/04) is released. Nintendulator is an open source Win32 NES emulator written in C (plus some assembly optimization). The original goal was to emulate the NES down to its hardware quirks; though it's fallen behind over the years, recent builds have caught up once again and can emulate certain behaviors most other emulators neglect to handle. However, this emulation precision comes at a price - a 1500MHz (estimated) or faster CPU is required to emulate at full speed.
WinVICE r45473 is released. WinVICE is a program that executes programs intended for the old 8-bit computers. The current version emulates the C64, the C128, the VIC20, all the PET models (except the SuperPET 9000, which is out of line anyway), the PLUS4 and the CBM-II (aka C610).
PCSX2 v2.3.144 is released. PCSX2 is a free and open-source PlayStation 2 (PS2) emulator. Its purpose is to emulate the PS2's hardware, using a combination of MIPS CPU Interpreters, Recompilers and a Virtual Machine which manages hardware states and PS2 system memory. This allows you to play PS2 games on your PC, with many additional features and benefits.
CEMU Graphic Packs v932 is released. It is a Community Graphic Packs for Cemu. Cemu is a Nintendo Wii U emulator that runs commercial games. Highly experimental software to emulate Wii U applications on PC.
