BizHawk Git (2025/09/08) is compiled. BizHawk is a A multi-system emulator written in C#. BizHawk provides nice features for casual gamers such as full screen, and joypad support in addition to full rerecording and debugging tools for all system cores.
Fujisan v1.0.4 is released. A modern frontend for the Atari800 emulator, providing a native desktop experience with full keyboard support, machine configuration, and authentic Atari behavior.
Test7800 v0.5.1 is released. Test7800 is an experimental emulator for the Atari 7800. It's not complete and is missing some important features but it plays many of the 7800 ROM files that are available. It supports a78 files and will emulate regular "flat" ROM files and also "supergame" ROM files. It does not yet emulate the POKEY chip and similar hardware. The 6502, TIA and RIOT emulation is taken from Gopher2600 and is therefore well tested. The implemenation of the MARIA is new to this project.
SpeccySE v1.2a is released. SpeccySE is a ZX Spectrum 48K / 128K Emulator for the DS/DSi. To run requires one or both of the original ZX Spectrum BIOS ROMs. Place 48.ROM and 128.ROM (exactly so named) into the same directory as the emulator or else in /roms/bios or /data/bios
PCSX2 v2.5.153 is released. PCSX2 is a free and open-source PlayStation 2 (PS2) emulator. Its purpose is to emulate the PS2's hardware, using a combination of MIPS CPU Interpreters, Recompilers and a Virtual Machine which manages hardware states and PS2 system memory. This allows you to play PS2 games on your PC, with many additional features and benefits.
ShadPS4 Pre (2025/09/07) is released. An early PS4 emulator for Windows and Linux written in C++.
DuckStation Git (2025/09/07) is compiled. DuckStation is an simulator/emulator of the Sony PlayStation(TM) console, focusing on playability, speed, and long-term maintainability. The goal is to be as accurate as possible while maintaining performance suitable for low-end devices. "Hack" options are discouraged, the default configuration should support all playable games with only some of the enhancements having compatibility issues.
Project64 Git (2025/09/07) is compiled. Project 64 is a proprietary Nintendo 64 emulator for Windows. It employs a plug-in system that allows third-party software developers to create their own implementation of a specified component. Project64 allows the user to play Nintendo 64 games on a computer by reading ROM images, either dumped from the read-only memory of a Nintendo 64 cartridge or created directly on the computer as homebrew. Project64 started as an exercise by Jabo and zilmar in an attempt to see if they were capable of programming a Nintendo 64 emulator. It's open source now.
PPSSPP Git (2025/09/07) is compiled. PPSSPP is a fast and portable PSP emulator for Android, Windows, Mac, and Linux, written in C++.
OpenMSX Git (2025/09/07) is compiled. OpenMSX is an open source MSX emulator which is free according to the Debian Free Software Guidelines, available under the GNU General Public License.For copyright reasons the emulator cannot be distributed with original BIOS ROM images. OpenMSX includes C-BIOS a minimal implementation of the MSX BIOS, allowing to play quite some games without the need to have an original MSX BIOS ROM image. You can also use your own BIOS ROM image if you please.
FB Neo Git (2025/09/07) is compiled. FinalBurn Neo is an Emulator for Arcade Games & Select Consoles. It is based on the emulators FinalBurn and old versions of MAME.
BeebEm v4.20 is released. BeebEm is a BBC Micro and Master 128 emulator. It enables you to run BBC Micro software on your PC. BeebEm will run most BBC Micro software including Elite, Exile and Revs. It will also run most BBC Micro ROM software (e.g. Wordwise).
RetroBat v7.4.0 is released. RetroBat is a set of Batch and Powershell scripts written to easily configure and launch EmulationStation for Windows. This frontend software is intended to gather your ROMs collection and run games with compatible emulators such as RetroArch. RetroBat can download and install all the softwares you need to have a good retrogaming experience on your PC. RetroBat is designed to run in Portable Mode. It means that you can either start it from HDD or from any removable storage device, as long as you do it on a computer that meets the requirements.
clrmame v0.5 released. Little tool to scan and rebuild MAME (https://www.mamedev.org/) machine sets.
EmuTos CVS (2025/09/06) is released. EmuTos is a GEMDOS compatible operating system for Atari ST series computers. It is made from Digital Research's GPLed original sources and is a free and open source replacement for common TOS images for Atari ST emulators.
