NxEmu Dev v0.8.0-623-84dc614 is released. NxEmu is an experimental open-source emulator for the Nintendo Switch from N3xoX1.
Hades Git (2026/09/08) is compiled. A Nintendo Game Boy Advance emulator. Hades is still under heavy development but it aimes to have a decent balance between usability, speed and accuracy.
FB Neo Git (2026/09/08) is compiled. FinalBurn Neo is an Emulator for Arcade Games & Select Consoles. It is based on the emulators FinalBurn and old versions of MAME.
PPSSPP Git (2026/09/08) is compiled. PPSSPP is a fast and portable PSP emulator for Android, Windows, Mac, and Linux, written in C++.
DuckStation Git (2026/09/08) is compiled. DuckStation is an simulator/emulator of the Sony PlayStation(TM) console, focusing on playability, speed, and long-term maintainability. The goal is to be as accurate as possible while maintaining performance suitable for low-end devices. "Hack" options are discouraged, the default configuration should support all playable games with only some of the enhancements having compatibility issues.
EKA2L1 Git (2026/09/08) is compiled. EKA2L1 is a Experimental Symbian OS emulator, written in C++ 17. The emulator currently emulates Symbian OS's EKA2 behavior (with planned EKA1 support), and reimplement most of its critical app servers. It can already boot many EKA2's apps and games, with EKA1 being worked on at the moment.
DOSBox-X Git (2026/09/08) is compiled. DOSBox-x is a branch of DOSBox. DOSBox emulates an Intel x86 PC, complete with sound, graphics, mouse, joystick, modem, etc., necessary for running many old MS-DOS games that simply cannot be run on modern PCs and operating systems, such as Microsoft Windows XP, Windows Vista, Linux and FreeBSD.
Azahar 2126.1 RC5 is released. An open-source 3DS emulator project based on Citra.
Altirra v4.50 Test 20 is released. Altirra is an Atari 8 bit Emulator on the Windows/DOS platform. Altirra emulates several models of the 8-bit Atari computers. This includes the the 800, 800XL, and 130XE versions. It has a lot of options, and compatibility is decent especially given the emulator's early stages. It also supports some copy protected games properly in emulation.
WinVICE r46225 is released. WinVICE is a program that executes programs intended for the old 8-bit computers. The current version emulates the C64, the C128, the VIC20, all the PET models (except the SuperPET 9000, which is out of line anyway), the PLUS4 and the CBM-II (aka C610).
KytyPS5 (2026/09/08) is released. KytyPS5 is a PlayStation 5 compatibility layer. The project is still in an early stage of development, so compatibility is limited and behavior may change quickly between builds.
Coffee GB v2.1.3 is released. Coffee GB is a Gameboy Color emulator written in Java 16 (core) and Kotlin (UI). It's meant to be a development exercise.
Simple Launcher v5.7.0 is released. Simple Launcher is an emulator frontend that makes playing retro games a breeze.
PS5PCEM v0.3.0-alpha.4 is released. Experimental PlayStation 5 emulation and interoperability research in Zig.
Xenia Edge Git (2026/09/08) is released. Xenia Edge is yet another experimental fork of the Xenia emulator, mainly based on Xenia Canary but with the aim of quicker iteration and improvements to Vulkan backend and Linux platform in particular. Windows of course remains fully supported as well and will benefit from changes made here especially with its Vulkan backend.
dosbox-automation v0.85.1 is released. dosbox-automation is a DOS integration runtime for game launchers, AI agents (including MCP), debugging, reverse engineering, development and integration into CI/CD, while staying a quality DOS emulator alternative for gamers. It is also intended for use in game trainers, as well as recording of properly rendered gameplay videos
