hpsx64 v0500 is released. hpsx64 (Highly-Experimental Playstation Simulator x64) is a PlaysStation (PS) & PlayStation 2 (PS2) emulator for x64 based systems. This is a WORK IN PROGRESS.
Ruzu v0.1.0 is released. ruzu is a Nintendo Switch emulator written in Rust and it began as an experiment nobody expected to work.
Red Viper v1.3.4 is released. A Virtual Boy emulator for the Nintendo 3DS continuing mrdanielps's work on r3Ddragon, which is itself based on Reality Boy / Red Dragon. It uses a dynamic recompiler with busywait detection and a hardware-accelerated renderer to achieve high performance on the 3DS's limited hardware.
AzaharPlus 2126.1-B is released. AzaharPlus is a fork of the Azahar 3DS emulator that restores some features. Each version is the same as the corresponding version of Azahar exept for these features: Support of 3DS files. If a file works with earlier Citra forks, it works with AzaharPlus. Ability to download system files from official servers. No need for an actual 3DS.
WinVICE r46243 is released. WinVICE is a program that executes programs intended for the old 8-bit computers. The current version emulates the C64, the C128, the VIC20, all the PET models (except the SuperPET 9000, which is out of line anyway), the PLUS4 and the CBM-II (aka C610).
Fujisan v2.0.5 is released. A modern frontend for the Atari800 emulator, providing a native desktop experience with full keyboard support, machine configuration, and authentic Atari behavior.
OpenROM v2.8.0 is released. OpenROM is a free, open-source Universal ROM Conversion Suite built to replace every proprietary and fragmented ROM tool out there. Powered by a modern Flutter desktop UI with a gaming dashboard aesthetic, real-time terminal logging, batch processing, smart platform detection, and a full headless CLI for automation — all running 100% offline.
WideMelon v1.0.4 is released. WideMelon is a DS emulator built from melonDS that gives supported games a genuinely wider 3D view. It reveals more of the game world at the sides while keeping menus, sprites, videos, and the touchscreen at their original proportions.
Stella Git (2026/09/20) is compiled. Stella is a multi-platform Atari 2600 VCS emulator. The Atari 2600 Video Computer System (VCS), introduced in 1977, was the most popular home video game system of the early 1980's. Now you can enjoy all of your favorite Atari 2600 games on your PC thanks to Stella!
VisualBoyAdvance-M Git (2026/09/20) is compiled. VisualBoyAdvance-M(VBA-M) is a [Super] Game Boy [Color / Advance] emulator for Windows, Linux & Mac. Here you can get information about the latest development build of the Windows version and download it while you're at it.
Snes9x Git (2026/09/20) is compiled. Snes9x is a portable, freeware Super Nintendo Entertainment System (SNES) emulator. It basically allows you to play most games designed for the SNES and Super Famicom Nintendo game systems on your PC or Workstation; which includes some real gems that were only ever released in Japan. Snes9x is the result of well over three years worth of part-time hacking, coding, recoding, debugging, divorce, etc. (just kidding about the divorce bit). Snes9x is coded in C++, with three assembler CPU emulation cores on the i386 Linux and Windows ports.
Pureikyubu Git (2026/09/20) is compiled. pureikyubu is work-in-progress emulator of Nintendo GameCube console. The goal of the emulator is to research the hardware features of GameCube and reverse engineer technologies used to develop games for this platform. GameCube is the hardware masterpiece of Nintendo/ArtX engineers and it's a pleasure to explore this device and discover something new for yourself.
SharpEmu Git (2026/09/20) is compiled. An experimental PlayStation 5 emulator for Windows, Linux and macOS.
rpcs3 Git (2026/09/20) is compiled. RPCS3 is an open-source Sony PlayStation 3 emulator and debugger written in C++ for Windows and Linux. The emulator has been in development since early 2011 and currently supports modern DirectX 12, Vulkan and OpenGL renderers. The emulator is capable of booting and playing a decent amount of commercial games and PlayStation 3 SDK samples. Many more titles are also becoming playable with future development by contributors.
