DOSBox-X Git (2026/09/26) is compiled. DOSBox-x is a branch of DOSBox. DOSBox emulates an Intel x86 PC, complete with sound, graphics, mouse, joystick, modem, etc., necessary for running many old MS-DOS games that simply cannot be run on modern PCs and operating systems, such as Microsoft Windows XP, Windows Vista, Linux and FreeBSD.
EKA2L1 Git (2026/09/26) is compiled. EKA2L1 is a Experimental Symbian OS emulator, written in C++ 17. The emulator currently emulates Symbian OS's EKA2 behavior (with planned EKA1 support), and reimplement most of its critical app servers. It can already boot many EKA2's apps and games, with EKA1 being worked on at the moment.
DuckStation Git (2026/09/26) is compiled. DuckStation is an simulator/emulator of the Sony PlayStation(TM) console, focusing on playability, speed, and long-term maintainability. The goal is to be as accurate as possible while maintaining performance suitable for low-end devices. "Hack" options are discouraged, the default configuration should support all playable games with only some of the enhancements having compatibility issues.
PPSSPP Git (2026/09/26) is compiled. PPSSPP is a fast and portable PSP emulator for Android, Windows, Mac, and Linux, written in C++.
suyu v0.0.11 is released. This is a continuation of suyu, which was archived upstream at v0.04. suyu is a Nintendo Switch emulator and AArch64 native recompiler written in C++.
KytyPS5 (2026/09/24) is released. KytyPS5 is a PlayStation 5 compatibility layer. The project is still in an early stage of development, so compatibility is limited and behavior may change quickly between builds.

WinVICE r46253 is released. WinVICE is a program that executes programs intended for the old 8-bit computers. The current version emulates the C64, the C128, the VIC20, all the PET models (except the SuperPET 9000, which is out of line anyway), the PLUS4 and the CBM-II (aka C610).
Ruzu v0.1.1-rc1 is released. ruzu is a Nintendo Switch emulator written in Rust and it began as an experiment nobody expected to work.
KytyPlus v3.7 is released. KytyPlus is a KytyPS5-based PlayStation 5 emulator for Windows, macOS, and Linux. This repository is a standalone project derived from KytyPS5 (itself based on Kyty), with additional work focused on iGPU optimization, build stability, and a unified PS4/PS5 dispatch (iGPU behavior is not yet verified; see iGPU status).
KytyPlus Changelog:
Overview
Diagnostics-driven release: the crash-diagnosis tooling gains three upgrades that land
directly in crash files, plus an end-of-video event fix for titles whose players are
started via AvPlayerStart (a common pattern the previous build's detection gate excluded).
End-of-video detection fixed for AvPlayerStart-driven players
The natural-EOF detector (which reports STATE_STOP to the game when a video finishes on
its own) previously fired only for players created with specific init parameters. Titles
whose players are started via AvPlayerStart - a common pattern - never received the
end-of-video event, leaving them waiting on video completion forever. The predicate is
now "codecs were opened by a real Start", which is the correct signal for that player
lifecycle.
Sharper crash diagnosis (for every game, every tester)
Three handler upgrades, all landing directly in crash files:
Stub-called NIDs are now in the crash file. The previous build logged "Unresolved
import stub called" to stdout, which never reached the crash file (it's the spdlog log
file). Both stub-call paths now go through the logger.
The access-violation handler names the fault class. Guest registers holding pointers
above the mapped guest VA ceiling (garbage arithmetic after a failed lookup) are flagged
explicitly, instead of a bare "Write [0]".
The last 12 stubbed imports called are dumped on any access violation.
These turned this release's own boot-video investigation from a two-day inference cycle
into a one-log-line identification - and they work for any game, any tester, without a
debug build.

PS5PCEM v0.3.2 is released. Experimental PlayStation 5 emulation and interoperability research in Zig.
OpenROM v3.5.0 is released. OpenROM is a free, open-source Universal ROM Conversion Suite built to replace every proprietary and fragmented ROM tool out there. Powered by a modern Flutter desktop UI with a gaming dashboard aesthetic, real-time terminal logging, batch processing, smart platform detection, and a full headless CLI for automation — all running 100% offline.
VisualBoyAdvance-M Git (2026/09/25) is compiled. VisualBoyAdvance-M(VBA-M) is a [Super] Game Boy [Color / Advance] emulator for Windows, Linux & Mac. Here you can get information about the latest development build of the Windows version and download it while you're at it.
Snes9x Git (2026/09/25) is compiled. Snes9x is a portable, freeware Super Nintendo Entertainment System (SNES) emulator. It basically allows you to play most games designed for the SNES and Super Famicom Nintendo game systems on your PC or Workstation; which includes some real gems that were only ever released in Japan. Snes9x is the result of well over three years worth of part-time hacking, coding, recoding, debugging, divorce, etc. (just kidding about the divorce bit). Snes9x is coded in C++, with three assembler CPU emulation cores on the i386 Linux and Windows ports.
SharpEmu Git (2026/09/25) is compiled. An experimental PlayStation 5 emulator for Windows, Linux and macOS.
