  2. What black dots line issue?

  3. The black dot issues are not emu based, game runs 100% here.

  4. Minor graphic glitch... a black long line sprite that appear behind the characters/objects of the [.dot Hack// Series GAME]...not because of the speedhack or EE/VU clamping/roundmode...

  5. Misplaced shadows?
    Try the skipdraw hack in the ini files with values between 1-10 or higher, may remove it. Should work fine in software mode.

  9. @#8, to fix that problem, open gameindex.dbf and find the entry for your Final Fantasy X copy(check the serial of your game on the console log e.g. mine is "SLUS-20312")

    When you find the entry for your copy, edit its settings and make sure the clamping for both EE and VUcores are full and extra (or extra+preserve if you have FPS to spare).

    Edit its entry like so:

    Serial = SLUS-20312
    Name = Final Fantasy X
    Region = NTSC-U
    Compat = 5
    IPUWaitHack = 1
    eeClampMode = 3
    vuClampMode = 3

    --------------
    Now all the positions in FFX will be correct (people will be facing the right way, and in the later cloister trials, the direction controls will work as they should instead of reversed)

    Note: you can just edit PCSX2's configuration through the gui and set the clamping modes to full and extra, but they have noticeable speed hits so it's better if you just use the game DB, as it only affects the games you want (FFX is not resource-intensive anyway, so the speed hits for the more complicated clamping will be negligble).

  11. About FFX, do you have any trash in FMV movies with hardware rendering mode?

  12. For FFX wrong directions in battle you have to change either the EE or VU round mode to negative.

    Not all the versions of FFX have glitches in screen on FMVs but for the ones that do you cna just press F9 while they play then press F9 again after.

  13. #9's method is better than #12's.

    Changing the round mode can be tricky since it can prevent certain games from booting or running smoothly(AFAIK, God of War is very finicky with the round modes you use, using the wrong one besides chop/zero will get you random TLB misses/hangs).

    It is better to fiddle with the clamping modes, since the worst it could do is glitch the game's graphics (and #9's method actually ensures that your configuration only affects the games you want)
