MoarNES 0.12.2.18 alpha is released. New-ish NES emulator, MoarNES, has a new release. MoarNES is a fairly new NES emulator which is about average at the moment, but has been getting better very fast. Due to it's rapid progress, it's likely one to keep an eye on.

    I've used this one a bit, and have played with it's source too. It's a damn decent little emulator. Occasionally the sound is a bit off compared to the real NES, but otherwise it works great for me. I played through Mega Man 3 in it a week ago, and don't recall having any problems anywhere.

    There aren't really any bells or whistles to this emu right now, but who needs 'em when you just want to play some games? The usage of the real Game Genie ROM is a nice touch if you feel like cheating!

    last thing we need on the planet is yet another nes emulator

    emulate dfk and speed up sh3 emulaation if youhave anyskill

    Geez another nes emu? start coding a ps3 or xbox 360 emulator instead and by the end of 2049 we will finally have a working ps3 or 360 emu.

    i tried it, it's a pretty good emu. i played a handful of games without running into any problems. but yeah, the NES emu scene is already over-saturated with good stuff. this new one is not really necessary.
