  1. Extract it into an existing Snes9x folder.

This is currently the best FUNCTIONAL snes emulator to date.

    1. Yes it is, it's pretty much hassle free, and now uses the same audio core as Bsnes. But why does it have to be in an existing folder? Just curious.

    2. Its an executable update, it lacks the dll file.
Overwrite the existing snes9x.exe with the new one.

  2. Sound shit.
    How to disable the interpolation?

    1. To me it sounds exactly like a real Snes.

    2. Oh boy, not this loser again....This guy was spamming the Snes9x boards last year asking the same asinine question about disabling audio interpolation. Look buddy, it cannot be disabled, if you want it off THAT badly, change the lines of code yourself and compile it from the source yourself.

The Sony SPC700/Nintendo S-SMP output is 1:1 to a real Snes and if you played the real hardware before, you know full well that it is how it's supposed sound. If you don't like it, well, too bad buddy. Stop bugging the devs with your trivial requests.

    3. I desagree.
Snes9x is surely the best snes emulator out there. But... I've played Secret of Mana on my REAL Snes too many times and the sound is a bit strange somehow.
Maybe the sound of bells on the victory song or maybe the music being cut every time I hit an enemy on the field.
I cannot explain exactly what it is, but I'm sure it's not 1:1
I don't have the snes anymore, I played the game back in 1994/1995 I think.

    4. Then test it on Bsnes; that, for a fact has been tested to be 1:1.

I do not know what you mean. I delved into the source code but poorly versed in this where things change.
I know that originally there was a snes interpolation, but the choice of the player could also provide that there is diversity.
I am disappointed that you took the path of development of bsnes emulator because this shit. snes9 should go on its way.

    1. Why, because Snes9x implemented an even more accurate audio emulator core? This emulator is HARDLY going in the same direction as Bsnes. If you want to disable interpolation, use Zsnes; it has such an option. If you don't like Snes9x, DON'T USE IT.

    2. To Jany.
      Use snes9x 1.51.

  5. 32bit rom loading stopped working.
    What does it means?

I've loaded Donkey Kong Country (32Mbit) and it worked fine...
    Is I missing something?...

Sorry if this question is stupid.

  6. To mudlord, the shader pack from themaister no work in snes 1.53, an error jump with all the shaders in d3d or opengl
