EmuCR:DeSmuMEDeSmuME X432R (2014/03/29) is compiled. DeSmuME X432R is a modified version of DeSmuME. DeSmuME is an open source Nintendo DS(NDS) emulator for Linux, Mac OS and Windows. DeSmuME supports save states, the ability to increase the size of the screen and it supports filters to improve image quality. DeSmuME also supports microphone use on Windows and Linux ports, as well as direct video and audio recording. The emulator also features a built-in movie recorder.

High-Quality Mode
High-quality mode.
I use the sprite detection processing of system that has been implemented in ver.2014-03-16.
Because it is still incomplete at present, there is a possibility that can not be displayed and screen effect and movies.
It is also changed to the 2D drawing processing part in order not to display the 3D image of the normal resolution,
There is the case that the background is not displayed correctly.


Normal Mode
Normal mode.
Make the sprite detection process similar to the high-quality mode.
There is the case that the screen effect a movie or do not see here.
Image quality, such as a screen fade effect will decrease as compared with the high-quality mode.
In order to use the same process as the standard renderer, fidelity should higher than the high-quality mode is paint the background.


Simple Mode

Bilinear Downscaling

If this is ON when the noise due to the sprite detection function is occurring, you can reduce the discomfort of the appearance.
For sprite detection performance in 3D outer edge is reduced, it is recommended that it be turned OFF when it is not necessary to use.

Inerframe Alpha-Blend

Blank-Frame Skip

It is easy to earn the frame rate, but the screen is distorted when you adjust the timing.

In order determination method blank frame is not a very smart, may not function properly in some situations.

Other
View menu → Window Size → No Resize
No Resize changes so as not to disable the maximize button of the window even if ON.

View menu → Show Menubar in Full-Screen Mode

  6. Desmume isnt really slow in my opinion. But Desmume X432R is early stage of development so its still pretty slow but overclocked Haswell shouldnt have problem with running 4X native or higher.
