DOSBox-X Git (2026/05/28) is compiled. DOSBox-x is a branch of DOSBox. DOSBox emulates an Intel x86 PC, complete with sound, graphics, mouse, joystick, modem, etc., necessary for running many old MS-DOS games that simply cannot be run on modern PCs and operating systems, such as Microsoft Windows XP, Windows Vista, Linux and FreeBSD.
DOSBox-X Changelog:
* add dosbox.conf option to enable or disable the dc bias adjustment code
* Mixer: When mixing all channels into the final output, apply DC bias correction so that games like In Extremis do not cause distortion in other mixer channels and with the overall audio mix in the user's operating system, for example, playing a DOS game like In Extremis while listening to a YouTube video
* Mixer: Hold last sample in render if nothing rendering, to avoid pops
* Disney sound source fix shutdown
* Merge pull request #6310 from maron2000/osfree_test
* github CI build: Add VS osfree nightly builds
* Merge pull request #6308 from AleWin32/fix/savestate-mismatch-detail-dialog
* Add saved-vs-current detail to savestate mismatch dialogs
