DOSBox-X Git (2026/06/05) is compiled. DOSBox-x is a branch of DOSBox. DOSBox emulates an Intel x86 PC, complete with sound, graphics, mouse, joystick, modem, etc., necessary for running many old MS-DOS games that simply cannot be run on modern PCs and operating systems, such as Microsoft Windows XP, Windows Vista, Linux and FreeBSD.

DOSBox-X Changelog:
* Undo CMPXCHG8B, it only broke things
* Intel documents that MMX instructions write to FPU registers and set the exponent field to all 1s
* Extend MMX_reg to include FPU exponent field. Intel documents that MMX writes set the exponent to 0xFFFF and it needs to be easy for the emulation to do that
