DOSBox-X Git (2026/06/09) is compiled. DOSBox-x is a branch of DOSBox. DOSBox emulates an Intel x86 PC, complete with sound, graphics, mouse, joystick, modem, etc., necessary for running many old MS-DOS games that simply cannot be run on modern PCs and operating systems, such as Microsoft Windows XP, Windows Vista, Linux and FreeBSD.
DOSBox-X Changelog:
* Valgrind is right, it is possible to read too far back and access beyond valid memory
* IDE device spec CD-ROM swaplist with connection to Swap CD mapper shortcut
* IDE ATAPI CDROM swaplist, if multiple CD images
* IMGMOUNT -u with IDE device spec
* IDE opt parse spec common function
* IDE device spec mount, ISO only
* Menus: Menu item should keep a pointer to the top menu it belongs to
* MSCDEX: CDROM_AllocateInterface does not need to modify the path, and it never does, change path param to const char * which also allows the use of std::string().c_str() with it. Add device spec ISO mounting, though only the CD-ROM image loading and unloading at this time
