PadForge v3.6.1 is released. Modern controller mapping utility for Windows. Maps any controller, keyboard, or mouse to virtual Xbox 360, DualShock 4, custom DirectInput, or MIDI controllers via ViGEmBus, vJoy, and Windows MIDI Services that games and applications see as real hardware.
PadForge changelog:
A fix for a poll-rate regression in mouse macros.
Fix
A macro driving Mouse Move or Mouse Scroll from a stick or trigger dropped the input poll rate from 1000 Hz to around 200 Hz while the stick was deflected. The macro injected mouse input with a SendInput call on the 1000 Hz polling thread, once per action per poll. Injected mouse movement is processed synchronously by Windows (it traverses every process's low-level mouse hook chain), so each call cost enough to stall the loop the moment the cursor actually moved.
PadForge now accumulates the mouse delta on the polling thread and injects it from a dedicated thread, so the polling loop stays at full rate no matter how a mouse macro is driven. Mouse feel is unchanged.
Install and upgrade
