DOSBox-X Git (2026/09/22) is compiled. DOSBox-x is a branch of DOSBox. DOSBox emulates an Intel x86 PC, complete with sound, graphics, mouse, joystick, modem, etc., necessary for running many old MS-DOS games that simply cannot be run on modern PCs and operating systems, such as Microsoft Windows XP, Windows Vista, Linux and FreeBSD.

DOSBox-X Changelog:
* Program::WriteOut(): Instead of causing E_Exit() attempting to call DOS_WriteFile() while the DOS kernel is disabled, print a warning message to the log file instead. Using Reboot Guest System with Windows 95 and a CD-ROM drive should no longer cause an E_Exit crash
* Reset MSCDEX and drive allocation on BIOS bootup so that when the guest reboots the system, IMGMOUNT commands post-reboot work correctly
* BOOT program: Use the prg_nopsp Program flag if the DOS kernel is still disabled, to at least help clean up issues with the Reboot Guest System menu command and Windows 95
* The latest PS/2 changes break mouse input in Windows, so #if 0 it out for now
* Merge pull request #6583 from cyberfox1/feature/biosps2
* enable aux/irq12 on C2/bh=1 bios routine
