Igir v5.5.1 is released. A zero-setup ROM collection manager that sorts, filters, extracts or archives, patches, and reports on collections of any size on any OS.

Fix: don't attempt extension correction for raw-copied files
When DATs aren't provided, the default Igir behavior of --fix-extension auto treats input filenames as untrustworthy and tries to fix the extension if it recognizes the file type. But for archives that are copied as-is (because neither the extract nor zip commands are provided, or because the zip command is provided and the zip archive is already correct), Igir keeps the input file's extension, and the file type detection is wasted effort. @j9ac9k found that this caused issues when combined with --merge-discs, so the detection has been prevented for now.
To keep behavior consistent, extension correction will likely be re-enabled for these files in the future. If you want to prevent extensions from ever being changed, you can provide the --fix-extension never option.
