Nextendo v1.9.3 is released. Nextendo is a fork of the open-source Ryujinx Nintendo Switch emulator. On top of Ryujinx's excellent accuracy and performance, Nextendo adds a first-class, built-in client for the Nextendo Network — a community-run replacement for the official online service — so supported games can be played online again without any manual configuration, custom hosts file, or SSL bypass on the user's part. The emulation core (CPU, GPU, audio, input, filesystem) is unchanged from upstream Ryujinx. Nextendo's additions are limited to the networking layer and the surrounding user experience.
Nextendo Changelog:
Accounts
Several Nextendo accounts in one emulator. When two or more are signed in, a "Who's playing?" window lets you pick one before a game starts, and before your account, friends or lobby open. The same account cannot be added twice.
qLaunch
New friend list: each friend on a card, with a round picture and, under it, the nickname and the last time online.
Round profile pictures on a friend's page and on your own profile.
Discord avatar decorations (staff and donors) now move, and go past the edge of the round picture as on Discord: on a friend's page, on your own profile and in the friend list.
A friend's page shows what they are doing in their game, under the game (for example "Offline · VS · 150cc").
The banner of a friend's page no longer goes missing at times.
Friend Suggestions show their 3DS and Wii U illustrations again.
Fixes
A game started from the HOME Menu no longer builds its shader cache again each time.
Splatoon 3 gets its latest BCAT data when started from the HOME Menu.
Fixed a crash when closing an online game, and when the HOME Menu overlay started as emulation was stopping.
Games
Pac-Man 99: the supported version is now 1.1.0.
Metal Gear Solid: Peace Walker (US) starts again, and Monster Hunter Rise 16.0.2 gets its online patches (thanks to CollectingW).
