Nextendo v1.9.4 is released. Nextendo is a fork of the open-source Ryujinx Nintendo Switch emulator. On top of Ryujinx's excellent accuracy and performance, Nextendo adds a first-class, built-in client for the Nextendo Network — a community-run replacement for the official online service — so supported games can be played online again without any manual configuration, custom hosts file, or SSL bypass on the user's part. The emulation core (CPU, GPU, audio, input, filesystem) is unchanged from upstream Ryujinx. Nextendo's additions are limited to the networking layer and the surrounding user experience.

Nextendo Changelog:
HOME Menu notifications
Notifications are detached from the screen edges with rounded corners, like PlayStation.
A friend coming online now shows a bigger profile picture and the icon of the game they are playing.
Donors and Nextendo staff show their animated Discord nameplate, with its colour gradient, in their notification.
The emulator's own notifications (controllers, connection) use the same style.
Fixed the icon of a friend's game staying on other notifications.
Friends
A friend online without a game no longer shows "Loading failed": their page shows the HOME Menu card, named in your console language.
Friends connected on the Nextendo App now appear online with a Nextendo App card.
Coming back to a friend's page keeps their banner, game details and avatar decoration.
The left column of a friend's page is centred.
Fixes
Games launched from the HOME Menu now use their own shader cache: no more wrong colours or broken ink in Splatoon 3. If the problem stays, clear the shader cache of that game once.
Fixed a crash of the notification overlay and a friend's picture appearing in the wrong place.
Removed leftover testing code.
