Nextendo v1.9.5 is released. Nextendo is a fork of the open-source Ryujinx Nintendo Switch emulator. On top of Ryujinx's excellent accuracy and performance, Nextendo adds a first-class, built-in client for the Nextendo Network — a community-run replacement for the official online service — so supported games can be played online again without any manual configuration, custom hosts file, or SSL bypass on the user's part. The emulation core (CPU, GPU, audio, input, filesystem) is unchanged from upstream Ryujinx. Nextendo's additions are limited to the networking layer and the surrounding user experience.

Smash Rework Update
Super Smash Bros. Ultimate now has its own BCAT delivery cache: the news ticker of the main menu, the Nextendo gift and the Nextendo announcements show in the main menu, translated in the 14 languages of the game. The ticker no longer says "Connect to the Internet".
Super Smash Bros. Ultimate gets the BCAT download action in the game list, like the other BCAT games.
Friend arenas are no longer empty: your friend list is ready as soon as the game asks for it, even when the first read failed at launch.
Fixed a Vulkan crash in Super Smash Bros. Ultimate after the web page: some of its shaders used more buffer bindings than the renderer had room for.
HOME Menu
Notifications in high definition: the game icon and the friend's picture have their own textures, they are no longer stretched and blurry. The game icon is centred in the frame.
A friend online without a game is now shown "on the HOME Menu" or "on the Nextendo App" instead of a plain "Online", with the matching icon on their profile.
When two friends come online together, each notification shows its own friend and game.
Your profile picture and name stay up to date: a change made on the website or in the Nextendo App is copied to the local profile, also right before the HOME Menu starts.
Your avatar decoration shows on the small picture at the top of your profile page.
The presence published while you are on the HOME Menu keeps the HOME Menu identity.
Update
The built-in updater offers this version (Help > Check for Updates, or System Update in the HOME Menu) and keeps your portable folder: keys, saves and account stay in place.
