ZeraPS5 v0.1.0 (build 571) is released. An AI-assisted PS5 emulator project with a Windows launcher.
ZeraPS5 Changelog:
Changes
Integrates the consolidated runtime and graphics improvements while preserving the public launcher, update system and optional private problem reports.
Includes per-engine/priority loading queues, handling of AMD-specific MONITORX/MWAITX instructions on Intel hosts, PlayGo metadata fallbacks and an image-store channel correction used in upstream Wolverine opening-video development tests. Playable Wolverine gameplay is not claimed.
Includes shader interpolation, geometry-group sizing and triangle-strip corrections. Experimental mesh/NGG, BVH addressing, mipmap, MIN_LOD, occlusion and approximate LOD-feedback paths remain opt-in and are not enabled in distribution defaults.
Preserves synchronous video event delivery, including immediate READY callbacks and later ABI/stride/loop/paused-audio handling.
Preserves keyboard controls from first launch, remapping-aware hints, 15 interface languages and RTL layouts. Corrects the Console/Path column labels.
Improves problem reports with log-quality and description checks, separate session records, process/guest exit metadata, ZIP integrity checks and guards against collecting active sessions. Sending stays manual; automatic uploads remain disabled. Exported cuts and legacy sessions are explicitly identified, and exporting does not truncate the original logs.
Adds an English source README and CONTRIBUTING.md. Program and corresponding modified sources are available as two downloads in this same release.
Validation
82/82 CTest checks passed in the basic configuration. The general RTX run passed 77 checks; five fixtures requiring additional prerequisites then passed separately with their explicit opt-ins. The compute fixture used its bounded allocation mode. These test settings did not enable experimental package defaults.
151/151 ISA cases matched on the RTX GPU, and 52 distribution/updater checks passed.
A real local 561-to-571 update passed native download, SHA-256 verification, preservation, corruption rejection, rollback and interruption recovery. The launcher window downloaded the frozen package from a local test server, installed it, restarted as build 571 and reported that it was current on a second check. All 43 payload files matched; five synthetic user/game/module files were preserved.
After publication, the native launcher update functions downloaded this release from public GitHub HTTPS without signing in and updated an isolated build 561 installation to build 571. All 43 installed payload files matched; five synthetic user/game/module files and the previous executable backups were preserved.
Production AvPlayer code decoded 105 video frames and 171 audio blocks from synthetic H.264/AAC media, completing two loop resets with immediate READY delivery.
Six final launcher/report checks passed. Seven synthetic report ZIPs were independently inspected. Manual local saving was verified through the launcher window. Upload handling, HTTP 413/429/503 and oversize rejection were tested against a local receiver; no report was sent to the production service in this validation.
Both executables were successfully relinked from the 94 supplied application objects and compatible FFmpeg libraries. Credits and licenses match the published build 561 bytes. A nested distribution scan covered 871 entries with no known personal-identity or credential findings.
Game testing
Minecraft: entered a copied creative world, rendered terrain and HUD, and changed its view after scripted movement/camera pulses in a four-minute isolated smoke test. Original game files, modules and source saves were checked unchanged.
KAGE: reached the online-ranking PSN sign-in prompt and remained active until the 150-second supervisor limit. No sign-in was attempted; gameplay was not confirmed in this run.
Earlier compatibility results retain their own tested build labels. Upstream development reports are not reassigned to this package. ASTRO still has missing objects/characters and intermittent incorrect colors; playable ASTRO gameplay and new FPS gains are not claimed.
