vAmiga v5.0 is released. vAmiga emulates a Commodore Amiga 500, 1000 or 2000 on your Mac. To run the emulator, a Kickstart Rom is required. The original Amiga Roms are the intellectual property of the company Cloanto. By purchasing a license of Amiga Forever™ you can acquire a legal Kickstart license. Rom image files can be added to vAmiga via drag and drop. vAmiga is open-source and published under the terms of the GNU General Public License.

Emulation accuracy
New option CPU_START_DELAY staggers the CPU start relative to the beam. Without it, some memory configurations always hit a timing race in Kickstart 1.3’s PAL/NTSC detection (#1029).
Reinstated the ADF track-length fix that had been dropped by mistake (#1021).
Usability
Improved auto-warp condition (#1008).
“Close unsaved instances without asking” now works reliably.
Choosing the Performance preset no longer wipes the saved collision-detection defaults.
