EmuCR: dolwinPureikyubu Git (2026/09/18) is compiled. pureikyubu is work-in-progress emulator of Nintendo GameCube console. The goal of the emulator is to research the hardware features of GameCube and reverse engineer technologies used to develop games for this platform. GameCube is the hardware masterpiece of Nintendo/ArtX engineers and it's a pleasure to explore this device and discover something new for yourself.

EmuCR: PCSX2PCSX2 v2.9.61 is released. PCSX2 is a free and open-source PlayStation 2 (PS2) emulator. Its purpose is to emulate the PS2's hardware, using a combination of MIPS CPU Interpreters, Recompilers and a Virtual Machine which manages hardware states and PS2 system memory. This allows you to play PS2 games on your PC, with many additional features and benefits.

EmuCR: PCSX-ReduxPCSX-Redux Git (2026/09/18) is compiled. This is yet another fork of the Playstation Emulator, PCSX. While the work here is very much in progress, the goal is roughly the following: Bring the codebase to more up to date code standards. Get rid of the plugin system and create a single monolithic codebase that handles all aspects of the playstation emulation. Write everything on top of SDL/OpenGL3+/ImGui for portability and readability. Improve the debugging experience. Improve the rendering experience.

EmuCR: Project 64Project64 Git (2026/09/18) is compiled. Project 64 is a proprietary Nintendo 64 emulator for Windows. It employs a plug-in system that allows third-party software developers to create their own implementation of a specified component. Project64 allows the user to play Nintendo 64 games on a computer by reading ROM images, either dumped from the read-only memory of a Nintendo 64 cartridge or created directly on the computer as homebrew. Project64 started as an exercise by Jabo and zilmar in an attempt to see if they were capable of programming a Nintendo 64 emulator. It's open source now.

EmuCR:OpenMSX OpenMSX Git (2026/09/18) is compiled. OpenMSX is an open source MSX emulator which is free according to the Debian Free Software Guidelines, available under the GNU General Public License.For copyright reasons the emulator cannot be distributed with original BIOS ROM images. OpenMSX includes C-BIOS a minimal implementation of the MSX BIOS, allowing to play quite some games without the need to have an original MSX BIOS ROM image. You can also use your own BIOS ROM image if you please.

EmuCR: NxEmuNxEmu Dev v0.8.0-670-4fc3500 is released. NxEmu is an experimental open-source emulator for the Nintendo Switch from N3xoX1.

EmuCR: FB AlphaFB Neo Git (2026/09/18) is compiled. FinalBurn Neo is an Emulator for Arcade Games & Select Consoles. It is based on the emulators FinalBurn and old versions of MAME.

EmuCR: Flycast Flycast Git (2026/09/18) is compiled. Flycast is a multi-platform Sega Dreamcast, Naomi and Atomiswave emulator derived from reicast.

EmuCR: EKA2L1 EKA2L1 Git (2026/09/18) is compiled. EKA2L1 is a Experimental Symbian OS emulator, written in C++ 17. The emulator currently emulates Symbian OS's EKA2 behavior (with planned EKA1 support), and reimplement most of its critical app servers. It can already boot many EKA2's apps and games, with EKA1 being worked on at the moment.

EmuCR: DuckStation DuckStation Git (2026/09/18) is compiled. DuckStation is an simulator/emulator of the Sony PlayStation(TM) console, focusing on playability, speed, and long-term maintainability. The goal is to be as accurate as possible while maintaining performance suitable for low-end devices. "Hack" options are discouraged, the default configuration should support all playable games with only some of the enhancements having compatibility issues.

EmuCR: DOSBoxDOSBox-X Git (2026/09/18) is compiled. DOSBox-x is a branch of DOSBox. DOSBox emulates an Intel x86 PC, complete with sound, graphics, mouse, joystick, modem, etc., necessary for running many old MS-DOS games that simply cannot be run on modern PCs and operating systems, such as Microsoft Windows XP, Windows Vista, Linux and FreeBSD.

EmuCR: PPSSPPPPSSPP Git (2026/09/18) is compiled. PPSSPP is a fast and portable PSP emulator for Android, Windows, Mac, and Linux, written in C++.

KytyPS5 (2026/09/18) is released. KytyPS5 is a PlayStation 5 compatibility layer. The project is still in an early stage of development, so compatibility is limited and behavior may change quickly between builds.

EmuCR: XeniaXenia Edge Git (2026/09/18) is released. Xenia Edge is yet another experimental fork of the Xenia emulator, mainly based on Xenia Canary but with the aim of quicker iteration and improvements to Vulkan backend and Linux platform in particular. Windows of course remains fully supported as well and will benefit from changes made here especially with its Vulkan backend.

EmuCR: clownmdemuclownmdemu v1.6.12 is released. This is clownmdemu, a Sega Mega Drive (a.k.a. Sega Genesis) emulator. It is currently in the very early stages of development: it can run some games, but many standard features of the Mega Drive are unemulated (see clownmdemu-frontend-common/clownmdemu/TODO.md for more information).

EmuCR: SDLVICE WinVICE r46238 is released. WinVICE is a program that executes programs intended for the old 8-bit computers. The current version emulates the C64, the C128, the VIC20, all the PET models (except the SuperPET 9000, which is out of line anyway), the PLUS4 and the CBM-II (aka C610).
